Jeans Cream Maximum Skin Therapy Radiation Burn Cream - Unscented, 7oz

Jeans Cream has been and is my go-to cream for any type of skin irritation for several years now. It soothes going on, is odorless and quickly absorbed. When I had an allergic reaction to plant sap which resulted in a severe rash on my face, neck and underarms, Jeans Cream was a significant help with calming my inflamed skin. And again, when I had a reaction to a new face lotion which caused my face to swell and skin to turn bright red. I was prescribed medication for the swelling and the doctor instructed me to keep the skin on my face hydrated with a gentle lotion. Jeans Cream worked again to soothe and moisturize my skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have used Jeans Cream to comfort and heal sunburned skin, oven burns and even dry, cracked heals. I would recommend Jeans Cream to family and friends without hesitation.

I just went through 33 daily sessions of radiation with a booster to my mastectomy scar line. It was so red and I was using aquaphor nightly during the treatment. Then the doctor put me on Silver Diazepam. It just looked like the worst sunburn ever and itchy after last session. I used this lotion multiple times throughout the day and a piece of my pure aloe vera plant. I’m not even two weeks out and my skin looks beautiful and this has helped the peeling so much! Telling my radiation oncologist about this gem!

This definitely helps limit skin damage due to radiation therapy. Start applying at least a week before treatments start. Wash off prior to treatment and immediately apply after treatment and a few times a day, including right before bedtime. I had a slight radiation rash but no burning or cracked skin and only a little itching. When itching started I applied a little more cream to moisturize my skin and the itching stopped. Highly recommend this product!

In August 2020, my husband had an aggressive squamous cell removed from his lip and chin that required six weeks of radiation treatments. A technician at an MRI center told us about this product. Her husband had had mouth cancer and radiation treatments three time in nine years. This cream helped him tremendously. The doctor told my husband to expect the dermis (skin) to breakdown as we got near the end of the treatments, however he used the Jean's cream after each treatment and throughout the day for six weeks. The skin got red, but never had any breakdown. This cream cooled the area being irradiated. It went with us to the radiation center. (Actually, it went with us everywhere. We kept it in a small cooler with ice packs.) During treatment he was able to recommend it to other patients in the center (on the down low). They were all grateful. The Jean's cream was part of a multifaceted approach to the treatment of his cancer and it was successful for him. We also used Manuka honey and Frankincense oil on his gums, because the radiation caused blistering. Frankincense oil and EMU oil on the skin alternating with the Jean's cream to encourage healing. The treatment center where he received the radiation never recommended any over-the-counter products or what would be considered holistic treatments. Everything we used was either recommended by other patients or from our own research. Some of the other things we did included juicing carrots, beets, apples and celery, along with making homemade Elderberry syrup and drinking alkaline water, in order to support the immune system. I want to make clear, this was our experience. We are not doctor's, just former patients sharing what worked. Since then, we have actually bought the Jean's cream and given it to people undergoing radiation. That's how much of a difference it made. Two months after his last treatment, my husband's skin looked great. I hope your story is as successful as ours.

I've tried different creams to sooth the itch and help with the healing. This cream has worked the best for me.

It would be nice if this were more affordable. It does help relieve skin symptoms associated with radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Jean's Cream was recommended to me by my Facebook Group for breast cancer survivors. I knew I was headed into radiation, and wanted the best protection for my skin because I am in 80s and have that awful thin-skin we Caucasian gals can be cursed with. There were many recommendations, but Jean's was one, and I chose it rather at random. Almost finished with my course of therapy and my skin is holding up wonderfully (and unexpectedly) well with four treatments left to go. I thank Jean for this and I will be using it well after my therapy as some say that the skin can get a bit problematic weeks and even months after. I am sticking to this and I admit to slathering a bit over my wrinkled face as well. Each person must follow their doctor's instructions, but if you are looking, I highly recommend this cream. Not greasy, protective, absorbent.

Worked like a charm!!!! Got burned horribly while on our boat with our family. My Dr. recommend trying this cream. I am so glad I did! Burns went away and my skin was completely healed.
