Yes there is. Basically it will ignite, don't drink it, don't get it on you, don't get into eyes. It is harmful to fish. Keep away from kids You can look up flebings leather dye msds and check it out. I've gotten it all over hands and while it won't wash off it didn't do any noticeable damage to me. Short term anyway.

No, THis will only work on Genuine Leather

This is what I would call a transparent dye, it will look uniform on leather that is uniform in color. In trying to cover a two-tone leather shoe I don't believe it will give the result you are looking for. Also if the shoes have wax or other coating on the surface the dye would not penetrate, and if the coating is not even the dye would look splotchy. One product you might try is Eco-Flo Cova Color which is a acrylic paint for leather. I have not used it so I cannot say how it would work.

No once it dark it is pretty much gonna stay that way. You might lighten it a little with alcohol but very little.
