Air dried to ensure minimal movement once installed | Free heavy duty key hole fixings and fitting instructions included | Fast & free shipping | Comes fully finished ready to installation | Handmade to order PLEASE READ: Please be aware as oak is a natural product, each piece will vary with regards to cracks, knots, colour and grain. This adds to the character of the beam. Due to machining and sanding, beams are typically up to 1/2" smaller than the size stated. Some beams may have small areas of pin holing which further adds to the effect, which will be treated with anti infestation solution. As your beam adjusts to room temperature further cracks may appear. This is nothing to worry about. None of the above can be treated as defects. SIZE: This beam is 6" high x 4" deep. Also available in other sizes including: 6"x6", 4.5"x4.5", 8"x4" and 6"x3". FIXINGS: Heavy duty keyhole fixings are positioned on one of the 6" sides. Routed and fixed into the back of the beam. Wall plugs and screws supplied free - suitable for masonry walls or stud walls where timber uprights can be located. Not suitable for fixing solely into plasterboard.
