These collars have been amazing for my little of 6 Siberian huskies! The only thing is since momma is shedding the hair sticks and makes it a little harder for the velcro to stick but after the hair is removed it works just fine. Product is super soft and the puppies dont even seem to know they are there. I will be purchasing more for my business.

I like these collars for newborns, but I usually swap the collars to something else after a week or 2 though. These don't want to stay on well. I think they're TOO soft. They don't velcro well and the puppies are always pulling each other's collars off. The more the collar comes off and you have to readjust, the less the velcro works, making it harder to keep on. They're hard to keep clean and get a dull color quickly. But they work ok for at least a wk or 2.

Even with pups with different markings, it can get twisted remembering who is who, and making sure everyone has been treated. We put the first set on when they were newborns, so I cut them down to half their length. When they were about 4 weeks I bought the second set since the others were getting too short. Then the third set when they were about 7 weeks. Two huge ways they helped. The first was I could list the colors and check them off during vaccinations, worming, vet check, etc. The second is for new owners to say which one they wanted from pictures. The Velcro holds pretty good, but I tucked the loose ends underneath the collar and down their backs which made it easier to ID, but also less likely to come undone when wrestling.

I bought these for a litter of puppies. I needed a way to recognize them easily. I love the velcro, however they do not hold up long. Many of ours started to fall apart in a couple of weeks. If you get water on them, it breaks down the glue faster. I would have loved if they lasted at least 6 weeks, but puppies are 5.5 and 4 do not have their collars at all, and others are faded and falling apart.

These are the worst whelping collars ever! They only have 1 inch of Velcro and the rest of the collar is just soft. They do not stay on and fall off within a day or two. What is pictured is not what you get! What is pictured is a collar that has soft Velcro on the outside and rougher hook & loop Velcro on the entire inside. DON’T be tricked into buying these. Colors faded really quickly and it was hard to tell the puppies apart. Tried washing them On the gentle cold cycle and the Velcro became separated and the two floppy useless pieces.

Love, love, love these collars. They helped me with my litter of kittens, especially because there were 3 orange that all looked alike! Easily adjustable and vibrant colors.
