Breathable Sun Protection Shirt

I'm actully rating the customer service as we haven't used the shirt yet. There was a pulled thread on the shirt upon opening the box. I tried to fix it myslef but with that material it's tricky. My toddler tuggs on everything that sticks out so I could see how this would quickly deteriorate. I wrote a complaint earlier this morning and rated the experience a 2.I received a voicemail from the vendor a few hours later saying that not only will they send a new shirt but that I don't have to bother sending the damaged one back - which is a godsent given that I'm running around a lot getting everything ready for our trip in the sun in a few days! I changed my rating from a 2 to a 5 because of the company's quick turnaround and high courtesy level. I look forward to getting the non-damaged shirt in the mail before we leave!

I love these shirts but they run big! Last summer my (then 2 year old) was wearing the 18-24 mo so this year I bought him the 3T/4T but it's so big on him there's no way he can wear it. He's swimming in it already and we aren't even at the pool yet! This is more like a 4T/4T it's irritating because there's no in between size from 24 mo to this huge thing. Now I'm going to have to buy a regular rash guard which I didn't want to do :( If you can get one that actually fits your kid then these are great. very lightweight and easy to wash. Ours from last year still looks great (and I do prefer the older zip up style)

There is nothing wrong with the shirt but heads up - it is NOT as pictured. The shirt I received does not have a zipper to widen the neck opening, it is a pullover long-sleeve shirt with a little front pocket detail (think sweatshirt pocket for hands at belly, not breast pocket). It is cute but my little guy HATES having tight necklines pulled over his head, which is why I bought this zipper-front item, so I'm pretty disappointed. As I need something so soon for an upcoming trip I don't have time to return/replace, but other buyers beware if the zipper neckline is what drew you to this shirt!

I hate putting on sunscreen but at the same time, I have to because we live in a state with constant scorching sun. Because of this, I love this. With a big floppy hat and this shirt, I don't feel the need to rub sunscreen on the upper body of my kids.now if only they would also make full length pants too, then I don't ever need to worry about my kids getting sunburn.
