TowerTop 2/10/25 Amp 12V Smart Car Battery Charger, Fully Automatic Battery Maintainer with Engine Start, Auto Desulfator, Battery Repair, Winter Mode, for AGM, STD, Gel, Deep Cycle Batteries

I purchased this charger to replace my old charger that I had for 30 years. What a difference and upgrade to my tools for charging. Here are my observations. Pro: 1. [ Quick Charging] I love the 4-level adjustable current 2A/10A/25A/Auto setting. I can set the charger up to what I need whether I am charging a car battery, motorcycle battery, or tractor battery. 2. [ Fully-automatic Charging] The Auto setting is my favorite because I can setup and let it go. I would setup at the end of a night and let it go all night. It automatically shuts off and the battery is full charged. 3. [8-Stage Charging Program] The intelligent 8-stage charging works flawlessly in the auto setting. The best is the information it displays during the process. Works as stated. 4. [Engine Start & Winter Mode] I have used this mode twice. It provides 100Amps of charge. It helped my get my car started for work on a very cold morning. 5. [Overall performance] No complaints works as stated and meet my needs to dealing with all the batteries in the household. 6. [Price] Product is low price with high quality. Meets my expectations without breaking the bank. 7. [Durability] Case is well built and well mold to stand the dirt and grime of a typical garage. Cons: 1. [Case] A firm case would be nice for storage. Just using the box for storage. Could be an added item to improve the product. 2. [Screen] Screen is average quality for the product. Overall, I would rate this product as a 5 star. It meets my expectation of quaility, ease of use, value for the money and versatility. Excellent addition for normal household use.

Light weight. Solid. Easy to use. Old charger was extremely heavy. No negative issues.

This thing has been more useful than I initially thought it would be. I got it to charge an SLA battery for a kayak fish finder... But I've ended up using it as a tender & charger for boat batteries, UPS batteries, and a riding mower battery I swore was dead. I also recently used it to charge LifePO4 lithium batteries, but with caution as it's not 'rated' for it. Display works great and is super helpful to know what your battery life is at. The only minor con is that it only hooks up via clamps, but I knew that before I bought it so I'm not going to dock a star for it. Just upgraded to the bigger better PRO version designed for handling everything above as well as LifePO4 and other lithium and deepcycle batteries.

like: work as intended I am satisfied with using this device but not sure if my time was limited how handy this particular device dislike: the plastic on the red clip feel out as I open the box will not charge a totally dead battery not sure how long will this last note: doing repair on cars may cause some manufacturer warranty to be voided also weather condition was cold and snowing. could had been a 5 star but I had issue with this device stated in dislike. the clamps were too big to connect to the battery terminals (this is my major issue) My battery was a duralast gold 75-DLG, I had no idea what type this is so I set this device to "standard". 1. battery was dead and this device does not acknowledge that the clamps were connected so I connected a 12v 3a power source and let it charge for a couple of hours. 2. after disconnected everything and connect this device. the "charge" did not work so I pressed the recondition, left at that point for 3 hours. 3. turn the power off and on. pressed the "charge" button. the indicator said "60%". left it overnight. 4. I came back in the morning and check the device condition, it was off. my MMV indicated a charge of almost 13v. car started with no issue. Added note: the red clamp will not clip on positive terminal. The black will sometimes slip off the battery black terminal. update - may 4, 2021: yesterday the car battery I have been using this item had a voltage level of 11.0 v. Recharge did not work, tried it several times. I tried "recondition", it seems to work on the battery. This morning this item finished and the voltage measured at 12.7v. The battery I have been work would max out at 12.9v. The 0.2v difference is a drain from the car alarm. Also I bought "uxcell 10pcs 100A Red Black Battery Insulated Test Clips Alligator Clamps Clip for Car" to replace the alligator clip because it would not clamp around the positive side. It was not the best but work. A light bump on the clip would dislodge it.

I have had this charger for two years and it is my go to charger all the time. I do repairs on ATV's and SXS's. Almost every vehicle that comes in has battery problems. Recreation vehicles are used and then put away and then most of the time not touched until it's time to use them again. This charger has brought many of these batteries back to life that normally would need to be replaced. The recondition function does take quite a bit of time , but is well worth the results. The only down side is that the battery needs at least 3 volts for the charger to start working. If I have a battery under 3 volts, then I put an old manual charger on it for about 15 minutes. After that it will usually have enough voltage to let this charger start working. But that small inconvenience is worth what this charger can do. On a sad note, this charger recently blew up from my own fault. I was charging an ATV outside my shop while I was test riding another on my 22 acre property. Out of nowhere it started raining. I was to far away from the shop to get there quick enough to stop the charger from getting hit with the rain. I opened it up to dry it out and saw a burn mark on the plastic case where the water arced. I saw two burned resistors. I contacted Tower Top with the location of the burned resistors and asked them for the specs of the resistors so I could order replacements. They promptly answered back with just what I needed. Great Service from them! I have ordered the new resistors and hopefully that is all that was damaged and I can bring this unit back to life. In the mean time I have ordered the Pro Model which is above this model. It says it will work down to 1 volt in the battery. I am looking forward to the same great quality and service that I got out of the first charger. The only downside to this charger is the clamps. Sometimes the biting area is a little hard to make a connection in a confined area or on a smaller battery and the colored plastic clamp covers just clip onto the metal clamp and are not strong at all. They come off very easily. Just having the cable swing down while moving the unit and having them contact the floor, bench or anything can break off the tabs on the clamps plastic covers. This is the only area I can say needs improvement. But all the positives of this charger out weigh the weak plastic covers. I would highly recommend this charger. I will write a review of the Pro Model after I have some experience with it.

This charger worked great. I had 4 12V batteries in various states of discharge. Showed state then charged and maintained automatically. It even should that one battery was bad. Simple to use yet technical has all there bells and whistles

This really worked for me. Took a few hours to charge my battery but it stayed charged! I have a 1983 Toyota and there seems to be a drain on my battery that my mechanic can't locate, so in the cold weather my car cranks and cranks and takes a while to turn over, which pulls on my battery. This item, as well as the portable battery jump-starter, are godsends for me!

Received product well packaged,looks like a good product , read instructions and hooked it up to a battery that was partially charged with my 15 yr old Schumacher charger that failed mid charge with circuit board issues in which componets failed (capacitors, ic chips) melting the board beyond repair it was also an automatic charger that always worked flawlessly, this charger with its very poor instructions as well as operational lack of intuity leaves you wondering what it’s doing if any thing, when connected it displays a charge of battery reading (50%) yet it will not start to charge,if you read the instructions they say that this state of charge reading is inaccurate until its final float cycle that it won’t ingage?, so this is absolutely useless, it has a default setting of 2 amp charge on gel cell battery? Again worthless, if no manual selections are made the charger is supposed to read the battery and make the correct selections and start its charge ?on lead acid battery’s it selecting 2amp gel cell battery and won’t start the charge cycle, there is no information if the battery is fully charged or partially charged and nothing is running or lit to indicate anything is occurring, basically it’s been engineered by a moron like most items from china complete waste of effort and time returned for refund. Maybe it works? But not wasting my time to find out in 12 hrs it’s not? JUNK JUNK JUNK!

topnotch product. it does everything and more for a excellent battery charger. the cost of the product was very inexpensive compared to other chargers in the market.

I found this to be a reasonably priced charger to top up my large L16 solar batteries from my off grid cabin over the winter months. I pull them out every winter and top off the charge over the course of the winter. As they are 6v, i put two together and works great. I have tried the battery recondition without success but the batteries I tried on were far gone so not sure anything could have helped.

Have recharged alot of batteries with this… even repaired some smaller batteries for 4 wheeler and snowmobile... havent been able to to repair any bad vehicle batteries
