All in all good product for bedroom locking, if you have animals that walk in your room and like leaving you gifts in form of pure stench this thing stops them from doing that( if people are asking why is my door so easily opened its not, my animals are like embodiments of Einstein). In conclusion if I'll need one again I'll buy it and would definitely recommend easy to set up and very trust worthy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Solid but flawed design *by K***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 May 2018* Good and solid, but flawed because the hook end is bent at a diagonal angle. Put simply, put this on a shed door, wait for the wind and the hook will simply slide up and out of the eye fitting. Impossible to bend it as it is very strong, so I fiddled around for ages to get the eye at an angle which reduces the chance of it coming out. On the pus side, it comes with stainless steel fitting screws which is a bonus. ### ⭐ Doesn't work as a latch *by B***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 November 2020* The angle on the hook, alongside the length of the hook, means that if you use this for something like a door or window that might catch the wind, then it will pop out of the eyelet.
