**Q: Need to play music every 16 minutes**
A: Only chimes on the hour

**Q: How do you make it chime on the right hour?**
A: I think I put a battery in it and rotated the time set wheel on the back of the movement until it chimes out the time. Note the hour the clock chimed out and remove the battery. At this point you can put on the hour hand on its shift at whatever the hour the clock just struck. Now put on the minute hand on its shaft at the 12 o’clock position.  Put the battery back in. Rotate the set wheel on the back of the clock to the next hour setting and stop the minute hand just prior to the 12 o’clock position and let the clock movement move the minute hand and note it’s location when the clock strikes that hour. Remove the battery. If the minute hand and hour hand are slightly off, pull either or both off their shafts and then put them back on in exactly the correct positions. Replace the battery. You may have to repeat this process several times to get the clock hands  correctly aligned with the chime sounds from the clock.

**Q: Will the clock work without the pendulum?**
A: Not for sure but I would say yes.

**Q: What does the indented button on the back of the chime do?  Pushing it just makes the chimes come on.  Can this be used to turn the chimes off and on?**
A: Hi, The button is used to synchronize the  chime count to the actual time on the clock. Each press advances the chime count by one.
Some chimes allow a no chime from 10:pm or 11:pm no chime till 6 am.  You might have to go through the whole 24 hours to set the correct am/pm chime to the time

The mechanisms were easy enough to install. The clock and pendulum mechanisms work just fine, however the pendulum included is small - only about half the size of the original pendulum of my clock - fortunately I was able to reuse the original pendulum and it works fine with the new mechanism. The chime is not very loud, especially installed in the wooden box of my clock. The original chime had a small speaker/amplifier to make it louder and it still worked so I reused the old chime and was easily abled to attach the wires to the clock mechanism. Happy to have been able to fix my clock as I liked it a lot.
