UDI RC Tempo 2.4GHz High Speed Remote Control 17 Electric Boat (Blue)

Loads of fun, zippy and responsive. Hard to flip but if you do no problem it quickly rights itself. seems very tough. Works great in any weather even from indoors if you live right on a lake as I do or have a good view of your pool. Pretty impressive for the price. So happy with it for my 12 year old (and me) I bought a spare battery. Now the 15 year old wants one. My 86 year old neighbor took it for a spin too and had no problem with it either except for giving the controls back!

Loved this boat at first but then it died after about 6 runs. Not sure if I'd buy it again.

Purchased it for girl friends son for Christmas and finally got on the lake this weekend to use it. Was a fun fast boat but the steering knob quit working after the 5th battery charge. Save your money and get a better boat.

Have spent three charges (only lasts for about 8 minutes) just trying to get the trim on the rudder to work. It won't hold a straight line and slight adjustments that should correct the issue seem to send it into a spinning vortex. Thank goodness the self righting feature works as promised because this boat does not work as is out of the box. It may right the problem with more sessions devoted to working on the trim but at this point it feels more like a chore than something fun. I haven't touched it in weeks because I have better ways to enjoy my free time than fighting with a toy in 8 minute bouts and then walking back to the house, pulling of the cover, hooking the cord to the battery up to an outlet. Waiting, waiting, waiting . . . I was hoping to let my son use it but with the difficulties I have had getting it to perform the most basic of functions, I don't think that is in the cards for anytime soon. Very disappointed in a fairly expensive play thing.

Just took the Venom boat out with the kids for the first time this afternoon. The bad news first, it takes on water and lots of it. Had to stop multiple times to empty as it would not accelerate due to the extra wieght of the water. The other two boats we purchased at Christmas, the Venom models do not have the water leak issue. Hope it can be fixed. The good news, wow, what a huge difference, compared to the Venom boat. It is definetly faster, bigger, turns on a dime, jumps on plane quickly and the run time is better. If it did not leak water, it would be 5 stars. My kids are 5 and 9 and have a blast everyday with them after school. If you live by water, I highly recommend these. Hopefully, my issue is just a fluke and not everyone has experienced this. If it did not leak water, it would be 5 stars. Do add the extra batteries to your order, as the run time is about 10-15 minutes.

Bought these boats for some summer fun! These boats are great and have a longer travel range than what would be thought. Boats run well and are fun to drive. The option to be able to get the host to flip back over after capsizing is great. It really does work! If you are looking for fun these are a great item to own.

Just got to try my boat today, due to weather. Ran good, preformed well. Some say it's faster than the 001, that I don't know. The 001 seemed pretty fast to me, of course it's smaller. Have just ran both boats one time, at different times. The boats are OK to run in Tennessee State Parks, anything that flies is NOT. Per Park Ranger. So I have to find a place to fly my Syma X5SC. Over all pleased with this one run of the Tempo UDI002 and the one run of the UDI001. Lots of fun, I enjoyed them. Thank You!

fast speedy boat very fun. but when i took it out the 3rd time the battery exploded and the plastic melted and not sure if i can use it again
