I am sure you can use it on clothing but I am afraid it may be too thick and too rigid for that purpose. **Q: Does the adhesive stick to wood very well?** A: I purchased it to apply to our outside canopy. I am a guitar player, and I am constantly changing my pedalboard around. The hook and loop that comes with with most Pedaltrain style boards is great for the board it comes with, but not the best mate for the pedals you want to mate to the board. Cut a few pieces to fit in each corner of the pedal, (if it’s a larger pedal I’ll usually put some in the top and bottom center sections of the pedal) and you’re golden. Once attached correctly to the soft sided Velcro that should already be on your board, it’s not going ANYWHERE until you decide you want it to, and even then I find I have to use something like a butter knife to separate it. I even use it on itself to mount a Strymon Ojai expansion to the bottom of my board since Strymon does not currently make mounting brackets for it.
