Not bad but not great. I do a lot of glue ups and I wanted the ability to apply pressure on all four sides at once. This does a great job on the joined edges but not as much as I would like to see on the faces. I still need additional clamps on the edges. It is very convenient to have it mounted vertically so it frees up some much need space in the shop.

You better have patience when assembling this out of the box as well as inserting panels to be glued. The top clamps don't stay in place. The bottom adjustable clamping sections are a pain in the a@# to adjust. Use a glue that will give you time to set the panels in the clamping jig. Very awkward and tricky to use this set up. Gives good clamping pressure to press the boards together. not sure how well it does on keeping the panels flat while gluing. Consider buying the Rockler table top panel clamps. They will cost a little more money but I think the product is superior!

Best system I've ever used. I mounted mine to the end of my work bench. I can sit in a chair and glue all the boards very quickly. It is hard to wipe the glue off of the back, but no other system I know works any better.I bought the Peachtree 2 Pack of 4 Way Pressure Clamps For Clamping Panels initially using Unistrut . It is very hard to get the boards into clamping position and apply glue.

Like others I have problems with the tiny screws pulling out of the plastic piece on the bar.Someone could easily redesign this system to be more robust. It's honestly a piece of junk. If I walk by and brush into one of the clamps they rip the screws out of the nylon rail insert. So I've got a few clamps that won't even stick to the rail because the nylon insert is completely stripped.Update: I was able to call and get through to purchase additional slide attachmentsSecond Update: I changed to 1 1/4" screws to hold the rails to the slide attachments. So far this has solved all my problems. Made the system way more robust.

I purchased two sets as I needed to be able to do a 7 foot glue up. I didn't follow the directions during assembly, and you might not want to as well... details below.Things I took into consideration during assembly were: my floor is not flat and level, so I had to deal with that by making a reference baseboard; the wall I was installing it on was not flat and even; and finding solid lumber called out would be very expensive (for #1) as we mostly have wet twisted lumber available.Steps for assembly:1) Laminated up the boards I needed. All boards started as 5/4 x 4" x 8' pieces of cedar planks for decks.three pieces were used for the upper mounting board, and four pieces were used for the lower. This gave me the 3" thickness I needed for the upper and the 4" thickness for the lower.2) Milled lumber to be flat and square with a 3" and 4" width.3) Mount upper support laminated board, using level and backing spacers. It was placed high enough to miss the outlets and leave me room to build a reference board for the clamps to float just above and the 4" laminated spacer board to rest on.4) Installed guides on horizontal supports, it's a tight fit, so easier to do at this point.5) Attached the knobs to the shafts of the upper clamp assembly.6) Pushed the screws through the nylon spacer. It takes a fair amount of pressure to get the screw to seat in the spacer, so better to do this now, before stripping the guide out later.7) Mount horizontal supports (again leveling them) with 6 inches between the two sections.8) Shimmed each back rail with a bit of cloth tape to keep the feet from falling off. I needed to do this, as I left the foot floating about 1/16" so I could slide some shop paper under the clamps to catch any glue droplets.9) Installed the back rails onto the horizontal supports. I used the 3rd hole down to attach to the guide. This lets me used either of the two top holes for the upper clamp assembly. The fully seated screw and nylon spacer is a little bit tricky to fish down into the hole, it needs to be tilted to get it to slide in the track.10) Measured and built reference base. This was made from a 2x6. The vertical risers gave me 1/16" between the bottom of the foot and the top of the 2x6. The 2x6 was "flat" so I would have about an inch or so of the back clamp rail & foot resting on it. The rest of the board would support the 4" laminated spacer board.11) Slid and installed the laminated spacer board behind the back clamp rail.12) Installed lower clamp assembly and front clamp rail.13) Installed top clamp assembly on back rail only. Left front rail hanging open.Now, ready for use! First panel doors came out very nice, just a little bit of glue cleanup. Hopefully the pictures will fill in anything I left out. (Looks like some of the pictures have been rotated to make it fit the page better... )

Works great overall. You need a bit of setup to get the lumber together before you can use. Instructions are good for the setup; but lacks instructions on how to properly use it. After a bit of playing around and testing we figured it out. Works great; would recommend for table top building.

I bought 5 sets and in my opinion it is well made, great quality and Cinstruction. The only issue I had was one of the set was incomplete. I called customer service and they sent me the missing component. I still lack the spare parts that comes with each set. I wish they had a better quality control on the packaging.
