Our Golden Retriever River loves it.
Keeps our pup busy several times a day. We give the raw knuckle bone 10 minutes twice a day. When not in use we keep in freezer.

Long lasting, satisfying treat for my power chewer pooch
Over many years I have purchased various brands of bully sticks for my little one. My dachshund is small, but her chewing ability is BIG. She is a power chewer, and she decimates most toys and treats pretty quickly. As a result, she gets bored pretty easily. A lot of bully sticks I’ve bought would not last long at all, but this particular brand is the best. The length is not ideal for my small pup, but she makes do. I tried cutting them in half, but I couldn’t. These three bully sticks will last from 3 to 6 weeks depending on how ardently my dog chews on them. They keep her engaged and out of mischief, which is a huge plus. I wish I could afford to buy them more often because she will chew on these a lot late at night which keeps her from interrupting my sleep. I highly recommend these! Just make sure from time to time that a small piece of bully “string” hasn’t gotten stuck in your dog’s teeth.

Husky Loves Them
My dog loves these and we tend to buy them from Benson's Pet Center, a local pet shop. I think we pay about $5 for an 8'' bully stick so this is a great deal. Some of them are a bit thin but big deal? They aren't that thin and my dog doesn't care much either. They don't smell THAT bad either. I let my husky have them in the house and you don't notice them at all. I would say these are great treats for a dog and don't let the negative comments turn you away.

Great mental stimulation for a happy, healthy dog!
These bones are wonderful for my 7 month old heavy chewer pyrenees/dane mix. I did my research - knuckle bones do tend to fall apart, particularly around the joint. My dog does not eat these 'shavings' (they are not sharp splinters, just little flecks of bone that make a mess), it just has a little clean up so be prepared for that. My dog has personally shown no signs of upset stomach, but if they start eating the shavings or show discomfort I would ask your vet about it as each dog is different. His teeth stay nice and clean and even after the peanut butter is gone he stays interested in the large bone chunk left until it gets small enough to throw away and replace. He was starting to chew on furniture and things he never had even when he was teething, and as soon as I got him these bones he stopped. I would not personally leave my pet unsupervised with any bone and all other safety precautions, but I highly recommend these bones for mental stimulation to keep a dog happy, healthy, and out of trouble.
