Not big
This is a great size for me, but there is only 2 of us, will struggle putting bedding on it, think would need bigger size for larger family , good and sturdy and easy to assemble, overall I am pleased with this.

Main pole is very thin metal and has a joint halfway; weakness.
over all very good quality and well finished and good quality; just a pity about the strength of the main pole. .Having said this it is absolutely fine to use normally in non strong windy conditions!

Okay but not great
When I bought this airer, it was replacing an item we had owned for a long time so I felt a bit blind on the differences between all the various models on offer. I wasn't really sure what the practical differences were between cheap, mid-range or expensive airers but I have a better idea now.On the plus side, it is light & easy to put up & take down (if you don't leave your airer permanently in place) and is capable of holding a reasonable amount of laundry. Reasonable amount; not a large amount. On the negative, just lowering the arms and then raising them again seems to put them totally out of alignment. If that sounds fussy, the point is that when your four-sided airer is decidedly NOT square then the various short sides & long sides have an awkward combination of really tight (too tight?) lines and very loose lines that droop down under the weight of even a simple t-shirt. You can sort this out by tugging the arms back into alignment and re-tying the line but it is a pain to have to keep doing this.Additionally, I have found that the lines are so close together that it only practical to use every other line to hang items otherwise they are rubiing against each other and not drying properly. So you are only ever using a maximum of 1/2 the actual airer. So, okay for occasional use, but if your household is big enought that you put out more then 2 or 3 loads in a week then probably pass on this item. I wish I had.

Not recommended
I looked at some of the reviews and noted somebody said it was very short and thought perhaps they were tall as I checked the height. I didn’t however take into account the depth it would go into the ground and wrongly assumed it was from the ground up! So it’s very short. Also the lines are far too close together you could only really use every other line. There is only one small pop out piece to hold the top up from the post. I don’t think it will last but I’ve now put it in the post hole so I can’t really send it back. I also made the mistake of misreading 50m thinking it was a 50mm size post but it’s only 32mm size so I had to buy an adapter too. It’s far too expensive for the poor quality and I would not recommend this product.

Great
Bit difficult to push the pole into the grass and to make sure it's at 90°So ours leans slightly each time we put it up.
