They fit and don’t leak
They fit my 1965 single cab truck and no leaking the gasket is reusable for a long time and the seals at the bolts are 1500 cc oil cooler seals very common

Much better fit than the old style gasket
I have a set of bolt on valve covers that leak because the cover and gasket fit is finicky. Went through two new sets with bad results. This new c style gasket is way better and I don't have valve cover leaks anymore. With this style you are almost guaranteed a good seal compared to the old conventional designs. Most recommendations say to use the OG cover and bales with perfect cut gaskets. Releasing the bales and searching through gaskets is no fun so I'm happy so far. Hopefully I'll update after more usage. I'm using this on my 1600 dual port engine for my super beetle.

Bought these VC which are great quality covers, but nowhere does EMPI tell you that you will probably have to trim your body bumper frame horns to get clearance.

Worked great, no more oil leak
Used they on my 1967 vw engine, they worked great, stop an oil leak that was driving me crazy from original style valve covers

Awesome quality valve covers.
Fit great! I like the channel style o ring gasket. I really feel that if you don’t over torque the bolts these won’t leak.Had them on for about a month, No leaks yet!!
