Watch the quantity you're buying
Nice boards, with good documentation, which is a welcome change these days. Only gripe is the way the advert is structured, I was comparing packs of similar boards, and chose this one due to AZ's generally good rep. I had a head slap moment when the delivery arrived and I found I'd ordered one board for the price of five elsewhere. The picture shows 5, but the price shown is for 1, OK, if you're paying attention you'll spot it, so shame on me as they say.

Misleading advertisement
The photo shows 5 units although only 1 is included in the sale. Easy to think that you're getting 5. This means its expensive at £6 for 1 when elsewhere you can get 5 units for £9.

Datasheet error caused problems
The data sheet "free book" supplied by A-Z with these drivers has a major error. The photo of the driver board is upside down when specifying the pinouts of the board. As the pins are only labelled on the underside of the board they can't be seen when soldered in or fitted to a breadboard. Check with a jewellers loupe before installation as getting it wrong will blow the chips.

Excellent driver
Pour ceux qui auraient un doute, c'est le bon driver pour piloter un moteur pas à pas type NEMA 17, et surtout ne pas utuliser les L298N qui ne sont pas adéquats pour les moteurs pas-à-pas du fait de l'absence de limitateur de courant. Je ne parle pas comme un spécialiste mais comme quelqu'un qui en a fait l'expérience et qui a perdu beaucoup de temps à essayer de contrôler le moteur avec le L298N comme on le voit pourtant sur de nombreux sites. Peut-être que cela peut fonctionner avec de tout petits moteurs ?
