From the Manufacturer The F-100C Super Sabre was the first variant of the Super Sabre to carry air-to-ground weapons for the ground attack role and the first to be equipped with an air refueling probe. F-100Cs were flown by the USAF Thunderbirds flight demonstration team from 1956 until 1964.

Stay away from this kit unless you are an experienced modeler and used to disappointing styrene plastic!
While this may be one of the few kits on the market claiming to be an F-100C, it is in fact an F-100D. Now, *IF* you are willing to put in the work, one can easily make this kit into a halfway acceptable -C version - as long as you didn't pay more than $5 or $6 altogether for the kit! With modifications to the tail and wing, a bit of scratchbuilding in the cockpit, making it with the wheels up (LOTS AND LOTS of puttying and sanding here!) and tossing the kits bars and stars & finding replacements you can make this kit into a somewhat nice early Tactical Air Command jet. Too bad it doesn't come with a stand but you can make one or find some on the internet.
