This may make the water feel nicer, etc, & take out any chlorine smell, but it makes no difference what so ever to the buildup of limescale on the chrome in the shower. Do not buy this thinking it will reduce limescale. It won't.

When I moved to the UAE, I noticed that my hair was constantly sticky and my skin was forever dry. I have used several shower filters that have been recommended to me but found that this filter works the best! It is easy to attach with different ways (depends on your shower) and comes neatly packaged with instructions inclusive of a mini-wrench to tighten, along with stickers to remind you of the waters filtrate change. La calidad de filtración es excelente En la parte que inferior por donde se cambia el filtro lleva un empaque de O Ring y presenta fuga, lo cual es muy molesto ya que es un chorro muy fino en spray que puede mojar cualquier cosa en cualquier dirección, toalla etc.

I recently purchased a home with terrible well water, the smell alone was enough to make me gag in the shower nevermind the heavy lead content and silt. This filter completely removed the overpowering smell and captured all of the silt particles. I no longer dread the shower! 10/10 highly recommend

I may be jumping the gun here. I live in Florida, and the water we have is the most disgusting thing I have ever had. I only installed this last night. Took me 5 minutes on each shower. Only my daughter and myself have used it one time, but right away I can tell that this is working. There are 3 things I noticed instantly, and these were the major issues we were having, being the reason I ordered this. 1 - Smell. Instantly I noticed the water smelled and tasted like normal water....no nasty taste or rotten egg smell. 2 - Water in my eyes, and it did not sting or burn. 3 - THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!!! When I got out of the shower, my skin was not dry. Every time I get out of the shower, my skin would dry up like a prune, and I would spend 10 minutes rubbing my back on the door frame to scratch my back. Also, I would have to apply a lot of lotion to my hands as they were so dry and insanely uncomfortable. After the installation, when I got out of the shower, my skin was soft. There was no itching, and I had no need for lotion on my hands. My daughters biggest complaint was that she felt like she could never get her hair clean with the water we have. After I installed this, she said she could feel the difference right away. Her hair was soft and clean feeling. She also said how she felt the difference on her skin. My biggest reason for buying this was for my baby. She has such dry skin on her back from the water, that every time we change her clothes, as soon as her clothes are off, she starts ripping at her skin. Her back looks like she was whipped from her scratching. The doctor said it is eczema and the water just makes it worse. Once the rash goes away with the medicine, I am looking forward to see how this will affect her after. I will update my review if needed, but so far this is one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon and recommend this product 100%.
