When we bought our house, our heating unit was literally in the kitchen exposed. So we ended up blowing the wall out and building a room around the heating unit.. Recently had an HVAC guy come in and tell us that the heater unit needs air flow and circulation so it can’t be closed off in a room. Suggested we put vents into the door. I didn’t want an ugly standard vent on the door so I bought this cover to at least make it look better. I thought the price is a little too steep for a thin piece of plastic, but couldn’t find anything similar in the size I needed so I bought this.

Fit perfectly. I like the pattern. Nice and thick. Seems that it will last a long time. I drilled it to install with screws - went just fine.

Exactly what I ordered however it is white and sealed on both sides with a white adhesive sticker. Sticker of course does not come off in one piece but hundreds if tiny prices d/t intricate design. This was hard to see as it was the same color as product.

I was very pleased with how easily it was installed and how it looks.

This grille is plastic looking, bright white. So it only looks good if you paint it in a desired shade. The design is nice and the size as described. Easy to install. However, this product would fit better if it had 8 screws instead of only four. The screws and holes are placed in the middle of the frame and so the corners stick out once the piece is installed. Overall, it costs far more than it is worth.

I guess for $50 dollars I was expecting something a bit more thicker and fancier woth detail it's just a cut piece aof plastic material, we shall see how it holds up with time.

I got tired of the limited customization of the “Old Tone” bath vent covers and the cheap fragile holders of their wire holes.DIY customization steps:1. Prepare the existing fan vent area by making sure the fan does not protrude below the ceiling area. Note the wood joist for screws on one side and need for plunger screw holders needed for the other side.2. Mark location for custom screw holes on plexiglass.3. Use painters tape to avoid drill marks on plexiglass.4. Drill each hole using very small drill bit size and increase the drill bit size until you get the size that matches your screws. This avoids cracking the plastic by gradually getting larger.5. Use the plexiglass drilled holes and a pencil to mark the location on the ceiling for the drill holes of wood and/or plungers.6. Drill all 4 holes using larger drill bit for the plungers and smaller drill bit for wood are7. Use hammer to gently put plungers into ceiling.9. Use hand screw driver to carefully install the plexiglass with screws.

Good product. Product turned out how I thought it would. Was annoyed label was placed on front of product and when I tried to peel it off it was a chore and left residue after multiple trials

Garbage cheap piece of laser cut plastic with 3M adhesive to secure.Description says luxurious solution, far from that... avoid for $40

If you have an older home that you're renovating, it's difficult to find new materials that will help preserve the historic architectural look. After skimming through pages of air vent covers, this one looked pretty good. But out of the box, it's literally a $2.00 piece of slick, extremely shinny plastic that has been pressure cut with a die. There's no texture like an original iron vent, no character, just a shinny slab of plastic. It would have been worth the money perhaps if they had stamped a picture frame border around the edge and prime painted it to look like metal, but for the price paid, I was shocked at the actual product. Keep looking!

Worked well for a tough-to-tind bathroom fan opening. While it was a selling point to not need screws to install, I wonder how secure or how long the four short pieces of sticky tape will hold the vent cover in place.
