MidTen 7.62x39mm Bore Sight, Red Dot Boresighters

The laser of this red dot got us on paper to allow us to finish the fine-tune our regular sighting system. Super easy to use as it is chambered & is the same size as a regular cartridge. The brightness of the dot worked as advertised and laser accuracy worked perfectly for us. Durability was also fine.

I purchased this bore sight to get the AR I built close and adjust from there. This product worked great and it only took a few rounds to get it spot on. I would recommend as the idea way to sight in your rifle. The packaging isn't good for long term storage after opening so I would recommend using a small plastic bag to keep it around. Comes with the batteries which can be dropped right in, screw on the cap and chamber it. From there adjust your reticle to where you want to be. Please note that if you are sighting in for 50 or 100 yards you will want the laser dot low as this bore sight is for a closer range. If you are curious about why this is I would recommend looking up ballistics information on google.

This bore sight fits fine in my chamber. The laser itself doesn't seem to have the power required to see any distance after 50-75 feet in the daytime. At night it does fine. A couple of times when I loaded it in my rifle, then looked through the scope to see the dot downstream, it seemed like the dot was disfigured, or oblong. I have no idea what that is, except poor quality. I haven't shot my rifle yet since I setup the red dot. We shall see how the accuracy is then.

Only two things I dont like about this product. #1 is the obvious that the batteries have to be removed. #2 it doesn't allow the bolt carrier of my rifle to fully close the chamber. However, with that being said it does work as it's supposed to.

Good enough to get you close but not perfect. As others have said not a tight fit in the barrel, it’ll sit a little different every time you put it in, but it’s not complete garbage, it’ll get you close enough to finish sighting without it.

First off, the three batteries that came with the product were dead as disco, so had to replace those. With new batteries the beam was bright for maybe 60 seconds then got very very dim. Each time I put them in the pattern would repeat with the bright part of the cycle lasting less and less time. Great. Secondly the damn thing simply would not chamber in my Vz. 58 no matter what. I even got a little aggro with application of force via the bolt but there was no way this thing was chambering, leading to a large enough amount of wiggle that it was essentially useless. I can appreciate that maybe Vz. 58s have tighter tolerances than many AKs out there, but this thing has chewed up a few thousand rounds of the cheapest Tula garbage ammo on the planet without a single hitch as well as a few hundred rounds of premium stuff. Straight garbage, do not purchase.

Awful, not accurate at all spinning the laser inside the chamber changes the laser position inaccurate at all, gets stuck in the chamber extractor won't latch onto the rim, not a tight fit this is a waste of money, took almost 2 weeks to arrive

Unfortunately the one I got was too wide to fit fully into the chamber which prevented the action from fully seating. The laser dot was in a different spot every time I took it out and reloaded it to the best it would fit.
