Didn't realize the regular Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts contain added SUGAR and corn syrup!
I had purchased the regular Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts and while munching away I read the ingredients, to my surprise it contained sugar, corn syrup, among others. This is not what I or my wife wanted. So, found this variety of Planters Peanuts, which contain only Peanuts, Peanut oil and salt. I was a little bit concerned that these "Lightly Salted" peanuts wouldn't be salty enough, to my delight that was not the case! Nice and salty, crunchy and delicious. Trying to avoid added sugar really has become a full time job, lol!

GREAT FOR SNACKS
We buy these to be able to serve to our guest when they come over and what's nice is that they're lightly salted so they are delicious I also use these in recipes if you're going to be making some fudge or something you can throw some of these peanuts in and they just take that fudge up to a higher level. Because they're dry roasted they're very crunchy in the texture is very nice. My mother is elderly so having the peanuts there when she comes over to visit offers her an added source of protein.

Lovely Peanuts
These peanuts were very, fresh and crunchy. The lightly salted variety had the perfect amount of salt! A majority of the peanuts were whole. There was a small amount of breakage. The price of this jar made it an even nicer pick. There were some brown skins that coat the peanut in the jar. This was a little annoying to the taste, but overall, they were so great that I bought them again!
