Trixie Premium Harness with Fleece Padding, Black, XS–S: 30–55 cm/15 mm

Like other new puppy owners, I have purchased several harnesses including the Rabbitgoo, Funkeen, and a special step in and velro at the back. My Border Terrier puppy, Agnes, hated every single one of them, no matter how we tried to acclimate her to them. She'll walk perfectly fine with her collar and leash, but that isn't the safest for the car. I bought this Trixie harness out of desperation, as I saw many Jack Russell dogs seemed to be ok with them. Well, Agnes actually walked around in this one when it was first put on her, and didn't shy away when I went to put it on her again. Happy days! She still prefers her collar and leash, but I'm glad to have a workable option with this harness when circumstances call for it.

The sizing is so bizarre. I had initially bought a S/M one which was too big so bought the next size down and it’s absolutely tiny. Aside from that, if you can find the right size, it looks comfortable. The hook you attach the lead to is quite far back. Unfortunately, I will be returning the second one we purchased and it’s much too small, and continue our search for a soft comfortable harness.

I use this with a long line or attached to the seatbelt for in the car as it is well padded so cushions any sudden tugs on the lead very well. Although a little nervous of it at first, my Shetland sheepdog puppy very quickly learnt to push his head through the neck part himself just by holding a treat at the other side. It can be a little tight getting the loop for the neck back off again and my puppy is still quite small for this harness. He was able to chew the neck part of the harness while it was still on him but I think this was just because it was still a little to big for him at the time - he seems to have stopped doing this now. On the whole its brilliant and I had been struggling to find a harness small enough for my puppy so am very pleased with this.

I like this and so does my dog, very comfy for her as it is soft and lined with fleece so the nylon type material doesn't irritate her. But difficult to adjust but if it was too easy your fixings would slide undone. Would be useful to have some kind of a catch/ secure device to tuck in the length of strap that you have to tighten . This can hang down and irritate the dog. I would certainly buy again and will probably get one for my other dog.

This is a good harness so soft but strong. It’s adjustable and easy to fit it doesn’t pull under the armpits like others I’ve purchased. Would definitely recommend this harness for comfort

This harness is a lovely blue colour, and looks really smart on my tri coloured Jack Russell. The fit is quit snug on him. I bought the XS-S size. However he could still get out of it if he put his mind to it. He puts his head down and rounds his shoulders. But that's only if I am pulling him towards me.

I bought this for my Daughters Bichon, it fits perfect and quite comfortable, I also bought one for my chihuahua.

harness is such good quality, very comfortable and very reliable! sizing fits my bichon frise mix PERFECTLY and it's quite adjustable, it has double buckles which provides extra safety and overral comfort it's a perfect harness definitely reccomend, buy it rn!
