Style Name:Bomb American IPA Sadler's Ales are situated in the heart of England's famous and industrial 'Black Country'. Founded in 1900 by Nathaniel Sadler and later expanded by Thomas Alexander Sadler (pictured below), the brewery supplied its twelve tied public houses, the most famous being the Windsor Castle Inn, Oldbury, the original Brewery tap house. The popularity of Sadler's 'incomparable' ales led to the brewery supplying numerous public houses throughout the Midlands. The Brewery was very much a family run business and this is still it's strength today. It has earned a strong following with many loyal Sadler's drinkers throughout the Midlands and indeed the Country.

Not so much a bomb, rather than a Hop Pop
Nice ale, but given the type and amount of hops used I am surprised that it has so little taste. The pale ale malt bitterness seems to overwhelm this even though it has Citra and Amarillo that should have provided a "zing" of grapefruit and citrus. All in all OK, just not as good as expected from the rave reviews.A bit gassy as well. which could be the issue.

Misleading and inaccurate product description!
I purchased this as an Xmas gift for someone who is celiac and gluten intolerant, must admit i was surprised but please to find an IPA beer that met that criterion as it clearly stated in the initial description that the product is and i quote 'Gluten free. Vegan Friendly' so i made the purchase and thought nothing more about it.My joy was short lived however when today on Boxing Day i was informed by the person i gifted it to that it contains both wheat and barley therefore is not gluten free in any way shape or form!!! Whilst i understand that i should have checked in more detail before i purchased these i still believe it was sold under false representation and should not state anywhere in the initial product details that it was gluten free thereby misleading people when making a purchase.I cannot return these items as the person lives hundreds of miles away from me so no way to get them back to me in the immediate future but though i would make this statement as i didn't want anyone else falling into the same trap as i did.

Great to drink slowly savouring the taste.
This is a very pleasant slow drink beer. I think it benefits from some time in the fridge but don't drink it too cold. Love the taste and it gets better as you drink it if that makes sense? I will try more of Sadlers beers in the future.

One of the tastiest and delicious stouts I have ever drank. It has a rich taste but not too heavy. Wish I'd found it years ago. Cheersh!
