Q: How do you operate the zip locks? There is no key or manual for the code feature.

-> Enter the default code which iirc was 000 -> then push in the small round button on the underside of the lock, it should stay pushed in. It's pretty small so you'll need a pen or other pointy object. -> change the combination to your choice -> press the big button, the one that opens the lock -> the little button should pop back out and your combo should be changed

Q: Hi just received this 17" bag but having trouble with lock as theres no instructions or key?

The keyhole is for TSA (airport security) to inspect your bag if you aren't with it (normally seen on larger luggage sets) the combination lock is for you - so you won't get a key for this. The default code is 000. There is a small circular button on the thin edge of the lock. Set the combination to 000, press the catch release button and the small circular button at the same time. Set the combination to the number you would like, then press the catch release button again.
