My chiropractor emphasized the importance of wearing the right shoes depending on the function. So, I replaced my running shoes (yes, I wore them to do weight lifting), and change to these.The shoe is very stable, comfortable, and true to size. I can tell the difference already in my stability improvement compared to my running shoes.Great overall value!

I had a very hard time finding cross training shoes to replace my previous pair of Ryka's. In truth, I never really loved my last pair, so was hoping to find Saucony and had no luck. So I decided to give these Influence shoes a try. I read all the reviews and ordered a half size bigger and was very glad I did. These shoes run SHORT. And they are more narrow than my last pair. I take a wide and these shoes feel cramped. Before settling for them, I did order several more pairs from Amazon (sorry, Amazon, but thanks for the free returns!) and hoped I could find something better. Cross Trainers must be a dying breed in wide widths, there were so few to choose from. I ended up keeping the Ryka Influence and in truth, after a couple of weeks of daily use, the sides have stretched out enough that they are comfortable for all my workouts. The one reason I wanted to try to make them work (besides not being able to find anything else) was because the bottom was perfect for aerobics on carpet. They don't stick and let you pivot easily as the routines play out. I do a weekly rotation of Richard Simmons, Jane Fonda, Leslie Sansone and various Zumba dvd's plus fitness hooping and this shoe is giving me support through all of them. I especially appreciate the lateral support, something my previous Ryka's did not have. They are also very lightweight. So as the width slowly stretches out, I'm liking these shoes more and more. But definitely order up. I'm a solid 9.5W and ordered a 10W and there is just enough toe room. I've never needed an extra wide width before, but could have definitely used it in this shoe. Runs narrow, runs short. But if you can get them on your feet, they are super comfortable for all your aerobic dance type moves.

First, I have Plantar fasciitis and MS. I’m a heavy hot mess. I need to walk daily but shoes have absolutely let me down - constant pressure & pain which leads to back pain and then 1-2 weeks of me trying to recover so I can begin daily walks again. I have tried probably 40-50 different shoe types/brands and just haven’t had success. Incredibly frustrating, to say the least.Read a little article on “best arch support shoes” and these popped up on the list. Came to Amazon to snag a pair. Pleasantly surprised to find them at a reasonable price!Received them today. The sole of the shoes (the whole shoe, really) seem to be well made and durable. I’m coming off an MS flare and have been struggling for the last 3 days to just get around the house. I slapped these shoes on and walked around inside the house. I was scared at first because they feel super lightweight and the inside is a bit firm. But I wanted to give them a go.10 minutes in, I noticed my heel wasn’t as sore (massive win). 30 mins in, my lower back felt a little better (probably because I wasn’t compensating for the sore heel). Fast forward to 2+ hours in and my feet don’t hurt at all.I don’t know who made these or how or what magic they poured into them but THANK YOU. It’s so refreshing and freeing to put shoes on and have them be supportive, comfortable, and to help my feet not hurt. I honestly wish I could better convey how monumental this is. People who don’t hurt will not understand how massive a deal this is. I have kids and the prospect of not hurting when I walk is freeing. It means we can go and do things. Over and over again, thank you!*I will update this review after a few weeks of wearing and walking.

I bought these Ryka cross-trainers based on web reviews in my search for a dance aerobics shoe. The shoes arrived super-fast and when I opened the box, I was immediately pleased by their appearance alone. I removed the insoles and put in my custom orthotics. When I put my foot in the shoe, well, let's say that Cinderella couldn't have been more pleased with her glass slipper! The shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable. (Thanks, Amazon, for recommending the correct size!) And after trying out several minutes of dance/hop moves around my apartment, I'd give the test-run an A+!

I hadn’t worn this brand of shoes in years - used to do arobics , with a lot of jumping and they were terrific.A woman next to me had a pair on & I asked her about them. It was low profile ( not a lot of cushioning) and had a pivot spot under the big toe , perfect for Zumba moves.Very comfortable and look terrific!

These have got to be one of if not the best pair of sneakers I’ve had. The are made forwomen and fit like a glove. Very comfortable and perfect for training.

Comfortable shoe for walking and great for intense workouts! Perfect fit and well made. Love the colours!
