What is included in the set

It is only the mat which comes in two flat pieces. The planes, terminal, and hangers are sold separately.

Would it fit daron sky arks aircraft?

No. It would not even be close to fitting. This airport terminal is in 1:400 scale.

Would 1.400 work on an ho scale layout

So, the ho trains are pretty big compared to some 1:400 scale airplanes. For example, an Airbus A320, which is a medium sized aircraft, is bigger than a real train car. The A320 in 1:400 scale is only about two inches long witch is a little smaller than an ho scale train. Long story short, ho scale trains and 1:400 scale would not look proportional at all! Hope this helps!

I know this mat says 1:200 scale but can it fit a 1:500 scale plane?

we sent this back as soon as we got it as we felt it was very over priced for a very inferior product. sorry we couldn't be of more help
