SHANOER Replacement for WR57X10051 for Refrigerator Dual Solenoid Inlet Water Valve Part

Didn't come with the top lock nut, once fitted worded for about 1 minute then got hot and stopped working

The item came extremely fast. Much earlier than the estimated delivery date. It arrived in perfect condition, as it was wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap. I installed it in 5 minutes and a couple of hours later I had ice in icemaker for the first time since April 2019. No overheating or other issues. Works perfectly fine.

Worked for 30 seconds and then stopped working. Terrible acrid smell from the part, which had overheated and was so hot I couldn’t touch any of the metal parts. Refitted the old part (which worked but had a leak) to check that I had not done anything incorrectly, old part worked.
