Moen 116618BN Aerator, Brushed Nickel

Very happy with this replacement part. Sure it's pricey, but have you even tried those off brands ones? You'll be returning those eventually and wishing you went with this one first. Moem OEM is the ONLY way to go!

Works great, easy to install. Simply unscrew the old aerator, install this new one. The increased water flow is much appreciated. The flow is 2.2 GPM, which strikes a solid balance between water efficiency and strong pressure—ideal for everyday bathroom or kitchen use. The first one I purchased was for the kitchen. I was so pleased with it I bought one for the bathroom as well.

My Moen faucet is a discontinued product but still worked perfectly, until the aerator wore out after about 20 years of daily use. I found this model, slightly different shape from the original but the color and texture are an exact match despite a 20+ year age difference. Kudos to the company for doing such a great job on backward compatibility. Yes, I can definitely recommend Moen water products.

The aerator on my old (12 years?) sink was slowing down the flow of water noticeably, so I went to buy a replacement. The real thing (Moen) was kinda expensive, so I bought a more generic product. It didn't work as well, and it rusted out in about two years. So I bit the bullet and bought the brand name. The product is fine, but the price is too high.

The end aerator connector at the tip of my Moen kitchen faucet started having issues and an attempt to clean it didn't resolve the problem. I found this when I did a search and decided to give it a try. It's the perfect replacement and screwed onto the tip of the faucet quite easily. I'm very happy with it.

This aerator is a perfect match in terms of fit and looks to the Moen faucet on our kitchen sink.
