How much weight can these hold? I want to hang plants from the rod.

I don’t have an exact number for you. It really depends on whether or not you can find a stud on the ceiling. I used them to support a curtain rod.

Could this hold a 3/4 inch rod?

Yes, 3/4 of is a smaller size rod. 1” 1/5 is larger size.

what the blank does 11/5" even mean? Give me a break.

22mm is less than an inch so it can’t mean 1 1/5.

Anyone use these as a tap bracket on frames with nails? My frames are directly against the wall, can't use conventional tap bracket kits.

I am not sure if you can. If try anyway. As long as the rod and curtins are not heavy it should hold.
