Great book for high beginners
I highly recommend this textbook, which I have used to teach foreign English learners. Each lesson is concisely laid out on an attractive 2-page layout. The focus is on speaking and listening about many interesting topics. There is also a self-study section (answer key included) with an accompanying audio CD, for students to study at home on their own. The only downside is that the audio CD does not include the listening audio for the lessons themselves.
