Q: What is the total number of balls you get with the purchase?

You get 4 balls per pack along with 8 Glow Stick inserts.Anything else please let us know.

Q: what is the stick for?

It's a glow stick. You snap it and insert it into the ball I would not recommend these as the glow stick does not fit into the ball entirely which will throw your putt off.

Q: About how long will they last? I will be using them on my putting green. I would be storing them at times when putting green is not in use. Thank you

oh yes perfect on the putting green and they will last a few hours but once the stick is out (one time use) you need to insert another new stick.

Q: how do these golf balls glow without battery?

glow in the dark small breakable sticks which you slide into the ball--the stick is a one time thing but you can buy replacement sticks and they give you 8 sticks to begin with. one stick will easily last 18 holes
