Used it to repair the scratch holes my husband made in my wood floor , filled and covered pretty well

I used this to repair a wooden dresser that we had damaged while moving. I used Elmer's Wood Filler for the large dents, but the product does come with wood putty for your convenience. The tubes that came with the kit stated "Leather and Vinyl," but an email to the seller and an hour later informed me that it was a previous packaging mistake and that the paint would work for my wooden furniture. The brush it came with was difficult to use and caused streaks. It was similar to a dollar store paintbrush, so I ditched it for another brush I had lying around with soft bristles. The instruction manual it came with was very clear and concise -- the biggest thing that helped was the color matching guide. Creating the shades for my furniture was a lot of trial and error, but the manual did prove to be extremely helpful. You can't even tell how damaged it was before! I do have to say that it does dry a bit rough -- even on the spots where I did not fill and sand (I made sure to clear it of all dirt/debris). It dries fast, but make sure you give it 24 hours to completely set. The paint is similar to acrylic -- it dries a bit rubbery and can be cleaned off your hands and mixing bottle with warm water and soap. If you use this somewhere where you frequently clean, such as a tabletop, I suggest that you seal it as it is quite easy to remove. A little also goes a long way and due to how quick it dries, make sure to wipe the tube openings so that it doesn't get blocked. Overall, it did a wonderful job of restoring my furniture and came with everything you would need to touch up or repair your furniture. I would definitely recommend you give it a try!

Hard to blend colors to match the wood.

I had a table that got some knicks and scratches put into it. Finding a color match seemed all but impossible. The product comes with a color chart which acts as a guide of which color combinations will give you the shade you desire. Once I found the desired color, I just brushed it into the crevices that were discolored and the next day, it was nearly indistinguishable from the original color of the table. I am convinced only I can notice since I knew where the original discolorations were.

I was remiss on taking “before” pictures, but trust me, it was really bad. The part of the backsplash and strip of countertop behind the sink was scoured white and chipped, I circled the part that was the worst. It took me awhile to figure out how to mix the colors for a decent match, but I think I got close enough, the most difficult part was the mottled appearance of the original laminate. While the repair might seem obvious in a picture, it’s not at all noticeable in person. The contractor said that I needed to replace the entire countertop since they had no means to match it otherwise. It’s been two weeks since I made the repair and it’s holding up. I used the fix a few blemishes on a newly installed laminate floor. It was my first time that I installed this kind of floor. I blemished a few planks in the beginning. The scratches were small and superficial. The laminate was gray and it was easy to mix the right color. The application was easy, you paint with a little brush that comes with the kit. The kit comes also with a mixing chart. A tip: When you mix the color start with a little puddle of the lightest color, white, yellow, light brown etc. and mix the dark color in little by little until you get the right mixture. When you do it the other way around and you start with the darkest color you may end up with to much mixed paint. The kit is not expensive and it worked for me.

you should know I have a house rabbit. If you’ve never had a house rabbit, let me clue you in: those fluffy jerks chew everything. They’re cute but destructive! My house rabbit has chewed chairs, tables, baseboard, bookcases, and other wooden furniture and fixtures to name a few. And it’s hard to rabbit proof some things, how do you rabbit proof molding and walls? You can’t turn your entire house into a cage, and I just don’t believe in cages for indoor rabbits.So since I can’t prevent the damage, I have to repair it. Enter this kit. It came with everything, including an easy to follow color chart and clear directions. The hardest part is probably color matching. You do have to work quickly with the (epoxy?) wood filler material, but it dries well and is as hard as the wood itself. The paint containers are small, but you don’t need much for small repairs so that makes sense. The colors allow for many shades of wood to be repaired easily, which is good for me since I have the whole spectrum of wood stains and colors in my home. The one thing I do not like is the paintbrush that comes with- it’s the plastic fake ones with the crummy bristles. I just swapped out with one of my own. I recommend this kit for all rabbit owners, or any destructive pet for that matter!

I’ve been looking for something for awhile to fix my laminate flooring in kitchen. It’s not even that old but it has scratches and looked horrible. It’s supposed to look like “wood.” I’ve tried the stain markers even tried using a sharpie but stain markers and sharpies always rub off when I scrub. I figured I’d try this stuff. It works! My floor looks better already. I had multiple deep scratches in my floor - I assume from kitchen chairs. My husband even commented on how much better the floor looked!!!

As someone who is not an artist or just a mid level color enthusiast, it would be very difficult to mix and match! If I still have the option to return, I would definitely will. Keeping it around hopefully to be useful on next touch up but hoping it wont gets hard and be garbage LOL ~ just do not buy!

This paint set works very well. Applied correctly, ding becomes invisible. Love it!

Take your time color matching and trying on a similar piece of material. Take your time and the job will look great.
