Danco is the way To Go
Needed to replace the bathtub knobs and the spout was in bad shape also so I got the same Danco brand. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. Comes with two sizes of threads, one is an insert for smaller threads and the other is actually threaded into the part. Since the knobs were Danco this spout matched them exactly. Looks really nice and the water flows with ease. Great heavily made part and good value for the money spent. Really like Danco parts. Highly Recommended

Plastic 1/2" adapter was cross-threaded, but work with some work.
This is the 2nd unit I bought. The first was an easily install, but this one had an used or possibly crossed-threaded plastic adapter. It took an extra 30 minutes to re-thread (with telfon tape and pipe dope) to prevent leakage. It would be much better if adapter was metal.

Works OK so far. I dont much care for the plastic adapter (would prefer something stronger), but it has not leaked.

Great replacement
Needed a tub spout replacement and this installed easily with a great fit and secure seal. Shiny and new, my 60’s tub now looks fresh again.

Didn't Fit
I'm going to start with saying the product is very good quality in my opinion. I made the mistake of not measuring my copper pipe and neither the spout or the plastic washer fit on it. My mistake. However i did have concerns of the plastic washer being prone to breakage. Just a reminder to measure everything before you buy.

Disappointed
The product had obviously been returned by someone already. Some parts were missing and it was a little dirty from prior use. It did not stop the drip that I bought it for so I returned it.

exactly as expected.. dimensions listed are precise. the included adapter gets the job done. no complaints from me beside the price.. this thing has 0.50$ of material in it, 0.60$ of electricity, rent and labor. no reason for it to be this price.
