MAONO AU-A04H USB Microphone Kit with Headphones for PC, Podcast & Gaming

I have the white version of this mic and it’s amazing. I got this black version and it had some issues with it. But it happened in shipping so it wasn’t the mic. Because the white version is the identical microphone just different color. And I absolutely love it. I had to return the black version but the white version is spectacular I own a ton of their microphones along with some of their other accessories like audio interfaces and headphones, and I absolutely love this company. So when I saw this microphone, it was one I had not tried before and one I genuinely wanted to test out. I’m also kind of going through a white setup era right now, so the look of this mic immediately caught my attention. When I got it in person, it looked just as good as I hoped. Of course, as always with this brand, the sound quality was absolutely on point. Chef’s kiss. The audio coming out of this mic sounds amazing. It has that rich condenser microphone sound with great detail and warmth, and the 192kHz/24bit recording capability gives you really clean, professional sounding audio. The build quality was phenomenal too, which has honestly been my experience with this brands products overall. Everything feels durable and well made. The microphone has a premium all metal feel and does not feel cheap at all. I also love how versatile this setup is because you get both USB and XLR connectivity. You can literally plug it directly into your computer and start recording right away, or connect it to an audio interface or mixer if you want to build out a more advanced setup later. Setup was super easy and honestly took almost no time. You are getting so much in this kit too. It comes with the boom arm, shock mount, pop filter, foam windscreen, USB cable, and everything you need to get started. I especially like that they included multiple layers of noise reduction between the cardioid pickup pattern, the accessories, and the software controls in USB mode. The software options are another nice touch because you can adjust gain, noise reduction, EQ settings, and dial in your sound more depending on what you are recording. For the price, this is an amazing value. You are getting professional level sound quality, a durable setup, easy plug and play use, and a complete package right out of the box. You can literally plug this in and boom, you are ready to go. This is just another reason why I love MAONO.

Like many people, I've entertained the idea of a simple social media channel. Just getting my feet wet, I know I needed to get used to talking into a microphone while allowing my ideas to flow. Without spending $300+ for a high end mic, this one has been a fantastic option to see how I acclimate to this, without spending a lot. For me, it assembled fairly easy, seems pretty durable (though definitely not pro-grade). My computer (Windows 10) recognized it without any trouble, and I was able to use Windows Recorder right away. Sound quality is very high, I noticed nothing indicating any restrictions in frequency response. Voice is natural and smooth. About the only drawback is the gooseneck for the wind screen could have been a little more robust, but with a little finagling, you should be able to find a mounting spot where it will stay put directly in front of the mic, without sagging too much. Had this been a little more durable, especially the wind screen install, for the price it would have been an easy 5 stars.

To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! When purchasing electronic gadgetry, I rarely go the 'cheap' route. I started my research with the expectation of purchasing the Blue Yeti combo which includes the mic, shock mount and scissor arm. But at $300 I wasn't sure if I really needed to go all-in for it. After thoroughly searching reviews and comparing products I decided I'd give this Maono combo pack a go. It comes with the condenser mic, scissor arm, shock mount, and pop filter. The price point of about $60 left me wondering just what I'd be getting but figured if it was terrible, I'd return it, use it somewhere else or simply replace it with a better unit. I'm not a BIG podcaster but have multiple online meetings, participate in events and want to get more into podcast hosting in the future but mostly just wanted a unit I could keep on hand, ready to go and push it out of the way when not needed. Perhaps my bar for expectation was too low given the price point but I'm VERY impressed with this set up for the price. The installation was an absolute breeze. In fact, it was so easy, I didn't even look at the instructions until the end as I thought I had to have missed something. I was able to get it set up in probably 5 minutes and it is truly plug and play with your PC (Windows 10). I plugged it into my USB hub, the PC immediately recognized it and I was ready to go. I did a quick test of mic volume and level and it sounds awesome. All the attachments are intuitive, easy to adjust and attach. As you can see on the one picture, I have the arm attached to the back side of my stand-up desk. It's secure and very easy to swing out of the way. The arm is plenty adjustable, swings easily and I can position the mic in any number of positions based on what I'm needing. I have yet to use the pop filter and probably won't unless I'm on a very important podcast/show. As far as the mic itself, couldn't ask for more. Levels appear good. Volume is good. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a directional mic and, therefore, you need to make sure the "Maono" name and logo on the mic are facing you when mounting it. If you don't, it's going to sound like you are in a closet or under your desk when talking. I tested it in a number of different distances and angles and it has great sensitivity and volume. It has only been two days since I've been using it so I can speak to the durability of the parts, pieces or electronics but everything appears well made, solid and durable. The others on my meeting said I sounded great. I would, without a doubt, purchase this product again and am very glad I saved the $250 to go this route first. Two big thumbs up for this Maono product at this price point.

I’ve never owned a nice microphone, however used many professional models for radio spots and marketing in my previous career. While I’m new to running the software side, I am confident on doing vocals. Now that I own a business and working on my own material, I figured it was time to learn. This microphone is surprisingly easy to use and provides excellent audio quality across platforms. This is amazingly useful and a truly great value.

I’m absolutely impressed with this microphone! I have it connected to my laptop for gaming and live streaming, and it’s a total game-changer. The best part is how adjustable it is; I can move it exactly where I need it so it never gets in my way while I’m playing. The sound quality is very detailed and "sensorial"—it picks up every nuance of my voice, making my streams sound professional and clear. It captures my voice perfectly without background noise, which is essential for my "en vivos." If you are looking for a practical, high-quality mic that offers great freedom of movement and top-tier audio for gaming, this is definitely the one to get. 10/10!

The microphone itself is very good, and provides excellent sound quality. I wanted to give this 5 stars. But I cant. Because in just a little over a year, the "wrist" of the mic boom which holds the microphone on the end of the mic boom, broke. First the bolt snapped. So I bought a replacement bolt at the hardware store, and then when I tried to bolt it back on, the cheap aluminum that the bolt uses to hold the microphone onto the boom broke in my hand. I have included a photo of the damage in my review.

llego rápido, es fácil de instalar solo con seguir el manual es mas que suficiente y empezar a utilizarlo es igual de fácil solo es simplemente seleccionarlo en el programa o en el sistema de windows y ya. me gusto mucho y su calidad de tu voz es muy bueno al igual que los ruidos exteriores quedan en segundo plano que casi ni se escuchan

صراحة يا شباب معايا حاولي شهرين بجد يستاهل كل جنيه دفعته الصوت نقي لكن خلي بالك انه بيلتقط أصوات حتى البعيدة منك لذلك ينصح ب انتهاء التسجيل استخدام برامج لتنقية الصوت ومنها المجانية مثل موقع Adobe podcast المتوفر من خلال الموقع الاكتروني بعديها فعلا بيبقى الصوت ينافس فئات أعلى منو في الفئة السعرية فلو انتى متردد يبقى خدو بدون تفكير لان هو صفقة قوية مقابل السعر وفعلا بيشتغل في التلفون بدون برامج خارجية
