Quality product, exceeded expectations.
I needed to cover my splint and ace bandage after surgery in order to shower. This cover worked perfectly. The blue neoprene-like ring around the top fits snugly (I’m a plus-sized woman) and the plastic cover was very thick, not likely to tear. I’m also short-ish, at 5’ 5” there was plenty of length in the cover. People much taller would be blue to wear this above the knee. One trick I found was that in order to get it off over the bandages without unraveling or dislodging them, turn the blue ring down over the plastic and slide it down, turning it inside out. Worked like a charm, sturdier than expected, and kept my bandages completely dry. Mission accomplished.

Works really well
I broke my ankle and needed something to keep my cast dry while showering. I had already gotten one splint wet when doing the garbage bag/duct tape route (and we were very careful!!). So then they casted me. I wasn’t going for #3 so I researched. A lot. That brought me to this. I’m 5’3”. With short legs. My cast went almost to my knee and I wanted something that went way past that so I wouldn’t have any problems. This cover goes all the way up my thigh. Just shy of a couple inches of the top. And I’m okay with that. The first use it was snug. A bit painful at first but I was showering and I was happy for that! I weigh about 142lbs w/a classic pear shape. It kept my leg dry EVERY time I’ve used it without anything else. We did try cellophane once as I wanted to take a longer shower and it actually trapped water at the top but no water got inside. I haven’t used anything else since.I’m very impressed this and am glad for its size as it made it easier to put on/take off. If you are careful with it I don’t see it ripping. They domake this type larger if needed. I dried mine before removing it just to be safe. Hope it helps!

Tight waterproof seal and good design and material.
Worked exceptionally well. No leakage. I didn’t experience any sliding, but I could see that depending on your shower floor surface, you would exercise great caution. Also if you have thick thighs as i do, the adult full was a bit tight, though not super uncomfortable. I just figured it would deliver a tight seal as well. You can always just not bring it up as much I suppose.Dries quickly and well. Highly recommended.

Worked well for small person, probably too tight for larger thighs
Worked out well for a petite person with skinnier thighs to use in shower over a thigh to ankle cast.

Good for keep water out!
Had a really bad wound on bottom of foot and doc said I need to keep completely dry, found this on Amazon and was a life saver allowed me to take showers. I give it a 4 stars because the stretchy part tears easily so be careful besides that is great and plastic is really thick. I’d recommend.

Easy on and off, comfortable and waterproof
Don't think twice, it's far better and faster to use than a bag and tape method. It's completely waterproof and plenty of space to accommodate a cast or bulky splint.Less than a year ago I used the arm sleeve to cover the splint on my fractured wrist. As soon as I fractured my ankle, I ordered the leg version because I knew it would work well. I goofed and ordered the long leg, but I just pull it up to my knee and allow it to fold up below the knee.I have a splint and elastic wrap at present and find that the best way to apply the sleeve is to fold the neoprene back over the sleeve, pull it into place, then fold the neoprene back to seal it. If I don't do that, it grabs the elastic wrap and pulls it out of place.Thoroughly satisfied, but hope I never have to by another cast cover ever!!! If I do, it will be this brand because experience shows they work and hold up.

Works well. Doesn't last. Plan to buy two.
Cast cover itself is great, but doesn't last.I bought this a few weeks before my surgery. It was fantastic for 2 weeks of use with a soft bandage-wrapped splint. Then the doctor put on a fiberglass cast. I noticed small dings at the top of the neoprene. By neoprene, I am referring to the stretchy blue/black section that holds the plastic cover tight to the leg.By 5 weeks after surgery, I had 2 significant tears in the neoprene - see photos..Surprise! There is only a 1 month return window. So I tried to patch the tears with duct tape. That didn’t work. New tears popped up at the edge of the duct tape. It is now 6 weeks after surgery, I have several more tears in the neoprene sealing band.I have two more weeks (hopefully) with this cast. Should I buy a new cover or try to tape it onto my leg??For the record, my leg measures 17.5 inches, which is well within the fit recommendations. Conclusion: the cast cover is great, but if you have a fiberglass cast, you might want to budget for buying more than one cover. It just doesn’t last.
