Works great! Used it many times now.
Previously bought a much more expensive pool robot. It broke after one use. So, I thought let’s try this as the reviews looked good. Our pool has a screen enclosure so leaves and sticks are rare, but with rains we do get lots of small debris. This little unit worked like a champ. First, I wisely used a “real” aluminum pole. The unit is light enough to move around yet heavy enough to stay on the bottom and gently scrub at algae. Also, the motor is powerful enough to suck it all up plus get all the sand and tiny gravel that accumulates. You can see in the picture the results. Easy to clean and charge, too. Clever pool vac that I’m hoping gives many seasons of cleaning. And the battery ran fine and strong for a 20,000 gallon pool. We do have a screened in pool that limits a lot of the larger debris, so this is perfect to quickly clean the pool every 2 to 3 weeks. So much easier than setting up the super long hose to the pool filter etc.! Update, the locking handle broke. It’s kind of flimsy plastic. I bought a replacement for a few bucks sadly after a year and a half now it won’t start. It’s a shame because it’s really a great little and effective quick pool vacuum.

Awesome!!! Wish I would have purchased sooner.
I've had an above ground pop-up pool for years and have used the cheap water propelled vacuum with the garden hose attachment... Hose was a PITA but great for leaves and other large debris. However, not great with sand/silt/small bugs. The "dust" would go right through the mesh bag and cloud up the pool. This vacuum picks it ALL up!!! 🥰The battery life is 45 mins and it's super easy to assemble. Used for first time today and pool was pretty dirty due to recent storms (Wish I had taken a pick of all the small debris in the canister. Could have made a tiny sand/bug castle with it). Had to stop once to dump the water & spray out the canister & filter and then finished it up and skimmed. Soooo much easier and cleaner than before. Not too expensive, not too cheap and does a great job!!!

It is a decent solution if you want to get rid of powder
I purchased this product about a month ago, mainly to get rid of calcium powder. Later I used to it to get rid of dead algae. It works fairly well for removing powder, even though some of it (not much) leaks back into the pool. Collecting leaves is more challenging. Often times, I have to go over a leaf or several leaves several times for them to be picked up. Assembly is easy. However, once I attached the nozzle to the canister, I could not disconnect it. I was afraid to use too much force not to break the nozzle or the canister (therefore, 1 star for assembly). I found telescopic poles useless. Not too sturdy when connected to each other. Not long enough anyway. I think any pool owner has a longer single-piece extendable pole anyway. I am not sure if I prefer battery power or a cord. Battery is always an extra thing to think about. Today, a plastic piece fell out of the nozzle. Who knows what it is, but the machine is still working.

Best Pool Purchase Ever!
I absolutely love this thing. I’ve owned pools for a long time and love to keep them crystal clear and debris free. Lugging the hose-hooked-up pool vacs out can be such a hassle at times. Or you don’t want to lug it out just to vacuum up the little piles of dead flying ants. In comes the pool blaster. We get lots of dead flying ants in the pool, and they sink to the bottom and make little piles. This thing is perfect!! It sucks up worms, ants, leaves, dirt, little twigs, pine needles, bugs, and all the small debris. It’s not going to be a whole-pool super vacuum. It’s designed just like a Dustbuster you would use in the house. You wouldn’t try to vacuum your entire house with a Dustbuster. It’s a great addition to pool maintenance. I’ve had it several months now and it is still going strong, holds charge well, and has good suction. I highly recommend this!

Met my needs, did a thorough vac job
This unit would NOT be rugged enough to replace vacuuming thru the filter for my 30 x15 above ground pool regularly, but it did EXACTLY what I bought it for - final vac of the season before closing, when the pool level is too low for filter vacuuming. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and did a VERY thorough job - picked up way more debris than I even realized was there! As others have said, not super rugged so not sure about longevity, but since I expected that based on other reviews, I’m giving it 5 stars for doing a high quality job on exactly what I bought for. May prove useful in cleaning hot tub as well, will have to give that a try sometime.

Plenty of suction, filters well.
I live in Hawaii and purchased this to keep my water catchment tank clean. After a rain I seem to get fine dirt/grit in the bottom of the tank. This vacuum seems to pick it up with no problem at all. As the dirt is very small I rinse the filter frequently so I don't impact the level of suction. The filter removes easily and it easy to clean in a bucket. A charge seems to be holding about 45 minutes so far, which is enough for me to get most of the tank cleaned. So far I'm very pleased that I'm able to keep the water tank clean and not waste water in the process, as it happens with an external cleaner. Besides the dirt/grit in the bottom of the tank it also picks up leaves with no hesitation.

Vacuum works great but doesn't last
The vacuum itself works great! Picks up small particles and leaves. 2 stars because we've had it since late summer 2024 and had to replace the motor last summer under warranty because it wouldn't turn on. I've used it once this summer and it won't charge anymore or turn on. No more than it's been used since we purchased it, it should last longer than it has.

Was good while it lasted. Blue plastic handle broke
Was good while it lasted. Blue plastic handle broke that pushes down to lock clear container in place. After first season one of the wheels fell off, not a huge deal. Didn't last a second season. But the vacuum, battery, charger did all still work, so that was good. Vacuumed pretty well. Filter would easily come loose inside container. The lock down part was iffy and snapped off trying to open it to clear the filter.
