Even with some lights on you can still find scorpions. The only downside to this light is that it uses 6AA batteries (not included) and they do burn through them fairly quick. Other than that I have no complaints and works very well.Makes searching for scorpions much easier and faster due to how bright it is. I definitely would recommend.

Definitely way better than the smaller flashlights when used to find scorpions on our property. Quality product. Fast shipping, fair price. Don't forget to buy the 6 AA batteries that are not included; rechargeables are recommended.

You can spend twice as much for less value. This has a very large area of view and besides finding scorpions it will let you know how clean your bathroom/carpets are really. Be prepared for what you will find if you think your scorpion free and not as clean as you thought.

I took this flashlight out after 10pm looking for some scorpions in my yard. The beam's range and intensity is superb and I am able to see scorpions at a much greater distance than before. I haven't used this for more than 20 minutes at a time so I can not speak to the battery life.

Since moving to Arizona we've become vigilant on scorpion patrol. This light is awesome in spotting them at night.It's also lightweight. We use rechargeable batteries and have no problem with life, just recharge every few weeks/months, depending on use.

This light is terrific for detecting scorpions. I carry it with me at night while walking my dog.

Good light for the purpose but keeps falling apart. Doesn't screw on tightly so glass keeps falling out on floor.

Used this UV light for a chip in my window ( it was winter and snowing so I couldn’t use the sun) It worked great. I have also used it to look for pet spots from a puppy we have. Very glad I bought this. Nice and bright.
