Good quality and easy to install

A good quality, strong, thick washing line that makes an excellent replacement on a rotary line. Ours has three arms, but this line is long enough to easily handle a four-arm version. We had about 13 metres left over on our model. It was a good suggestion of comm88's to start re-threading from the middle. Otherwise you'll have an awful lot of line to pull through an awful lot of holes. But take great care to keep the unused part neat and tidy or you will get in a terrible tangle. I'd also recommend that you don't remove the old line all in one go, but do it one leg at a time and chase through with the new line. That way, you keep the arms the right distance apart and you can follow exactly how the old line was threaded, particularly how it was finished off at the ends. Before cutting, I've wrapped some extra line around the arm at both ends so that I have some spare if I ever need to repair a section, or adjust the tension. The line does have a strong steel core and you will need a pair of pliers or a wire cutter to cut through it.

I bought this many months before getting around to using it. I had not realised that the internal core was wire not cotton like my last one, this took me by surprise when I cam e to cut the excess off!.after threading it through my rotary washing line I tightened up all the slack, within a short while there seemed to be more slack, so I tightened it up again.... twice more I did this getting rather frustrated that the line seemed to be stretching..... sadly it seems that the line was so strong that as I tightened it I was actually bending the arms on the rotary washing line- so much that I ruined it.

I cannot comment on the stretch and durability of this product as I have only used it twice. It is, however, an excellent washing line, a good thickness with a steel core. The only comment I would make is that if it could be produced with a loop or a metal ring at one end it would be so much easier to attach to a line post. If you didn't want a loop/ring at the end just cut it off, but obviously you will need more than a pair of scissors to cut it.

I cannot recommend this washing line enough! Such a good quality, thick yet flexible (important as my hubby was in doubt when first arrived, however soon changed his opinion when he saw how flexible it is) and works beautifully as a washing line in my garden. You get so much line for the price that its excellent value for money.The gold colour blends in nicely and does not stand out like a white line would have. Well worth it!

The washing line itself is superb with very little stretch. Ensure you have something to cut the line with though! 50m comfortably went from side to side in my garden as intended, with sufficient left over to do the same again, as not intended. If a car happened to be driving down your garden at 50mph, parallel to your washing line, it would take more than two seconds to get from one end to the other. Hopefully that is not a realistic prospect but it gives you an idea that a 50m washing line may be a little excessive for most people.

Tutto perfetto. Preso per sostituire un vecchio fil di ferro. Estremamente resistente e bellissimo da vedere.

Hoy he utilizado por primera vez este tipo de cuerda y la verdad es que aunque es muy finita parece bastante resistente, no se deforma se mantiene estable, las que no llevan acero que son de poliester al final acaban pasándose y en mi patio donde está puesta da todo el día el sol y hay que cambiar continuamente, vamos a ver que tal resiste de este tipo. El envío por parte del vendedor rapidísimo.
