The Bearded Dragon Manual (Advanced Vivarium Systems)

Great for any bearded dragon owner
This is a great book for bearded dragon owners to have. My only problem is that some of the information is a little outdated. Which is not a big issue considering that it is an older book and there has been a lot of new information since it was printed. However, most of the information is still relevant and needed.

Pretty informative.
I got this book after I got the dragon. I wish I had the book first. I found out I don't like the little buggers and gave the thing away to a friend with the book in tow. Book is well written and easy to read. It shows all the concerns a dragon owner should be aware of and proper care and maintenance. It might be a little outdated, with the new foods that are ready to eat that are produced for them. Also, not a lot on personalities, but I didn't expect much on that either.

Came in amazing shape. This is a great book to balance ...
Came in amazing shape. This is a great book to balance out the many different styles of how to care for as well as the DO and DON'T "rules" from the bearded dragons habitat, care and beyond. Also, a bonus in the book go in to the many heath problems that may happen when you own a beardy. Explained so well its like a minI go to guide when you notice a difference within your dragon. Oh, it also explains the normal behavior, actions etc... and stages of certain type of changes and how to determine the different types from normal or not. For us "newbies" and/or "overprotective parents" out their!

Some good information, but too many crucial inaccuracies to recommend.
This book is riddled with inaccuracies when it comes to setting up a habitat and feeding your bearded dragon. You're much better off reading widely on the forums on beardeddragon.org to get your care information, and/or consulting a knowledgeable breeder (for the love of god, don't ask Petco or other chains what to do--they recommended loose substrate and mealworms when I picked up an enclosure, which are both bad for beardies). Emphasis on reading widely, since of course forums are full of even more garbage than a publication, but if you take the time to do your research, you'll find excellent information. Reading this book will leave you better off than not doing any research at all, but it is far from being an authoritative source on beardie care.

Recommended by most breeders
As of 2013 this was the most recommended Bearded Dragon book on the market and is still probably one of the best books out there. I have done years of research and own to dragons. I do consider some of the contained information outdated, however it is still an excellent all-round guide. It is good to compare different books and different websites as everyone gives different advice. But if you don't have a bearded dragon book and only want one book you can't go wrong with getting this one.

Great for Beginners
My son asked for a Bearded Dragon for Christmas so I got him this book for his birthday as a prep for what to do and expect when he gets his Dragon. I looked through the book before giving it to him and after he read it he was so excited. He has been spouting off random facts to me ever since. This has also sparked further interest and he is doing more research. I am glad that I found this book and would recommend it to anyone getting a Bearded Dragon for the first time.

Informative Guide to Bearded Dragon Care
This is an informative, well-written book to help one understand the specific needs of bearded dragons. I like that the book is written collaboratively by people specializing in various aspects of these amazing creatures. What a great idea!My only complaint is that there could be more information on the best way to set up the habitat with regard to heating and lighting requirements. There is quite a bit of information on breeding beardies, which wasn't so applicable to us.

Far more then a book!
So far the best book about Bearded Dragons. I got this book because some people had some Bearded Dragons and they couldn't take them with them where moving to. So we took them but have no info how to take care them then I found this book about them and get all the needed info plus I don't have to turn on the laptop and look online every time if something goes wrong turn few pages and done.

Brilliant
I was a novice when I was given my bearded dragon, I bought this book as it was claimed to be the best. I now have the confidence that I am treating him properly and with the best environment possible.
