I bought this to do as a fun, little art project with my 5 yr old. I first tested it out on my own (the one with the galaxy in the pics) and I was quite impressed. Some of the paints are more opaque than others (I found yellow and purple to be more transparent and harder to build up in intensity), but considering the price point, they were decent. The paint is also easily cleaned off of surfaces and skin. Both the paint and the varnish dry quickly, though the varnish is a little streaky, but its not a big deal to me.The next day, I painted the rainbow one for my kid. He tried to do it himself, but he didn't like it, so he started a new one (with numbers) while I worked on his name sign 😂 i wrote our names with oil paint markers. overall, we both had fun, my kid loved his sign and I would recommend this set.
