Does it have lactose?

Hello Sarah, Yes, each pellet has 42.5mg of lactose. All Boiron single medicines can be special ordered as a liquid dilution. The liquid does not contain the sucrose or lactose used in the pellets, but it does contain 20% alcohol as a preservative. Five (5) pellets equal 10 drops of a liquid dilution. Twenty-five percent of adults in the U.S. are lactose intolerant. Lactose intolerance is a condition caused by a lack of an enzyme called lactase. The general approach to control symptoms of lactose intolerance includes avoidance of large quantities of dairy or foods containing lactose. Typically, it takes 12 g of lactose (1 cup of milk) to trigger symptoms. Five Boiron pellets contain 42.2 mg of lactose, and two Boiron tablets of most of our medicines contain 492 mg with the exception of two Acteane tablets which contain 120mg of lactose (0.35%, 4.1%, and 1% of the intolerance dose, respectively). These amounts are not significant enough to trigger symptoms in a lactose intolerant person. In addition, lactose must reach a person’s small intestine to trigger symptoms. Homeopathic pellets and tablets are absorbed sublingually, thereby bypassing the small intestine. Also, lactose intolerance and a milk allergy should not be confused. People allergic to milk are allergic to casein (a protein), not to lactose. There is no casein or other proteins in Boiron pellets or tablets. How do I get them out of the bottle?

You remove the small label from around the place where the 2 halves of the tube come together, then twist, upside down, until there are 3 -5 balls in the cap. Sometimes, the cap is still a glued to the bottom so you may need use something like a tweezer, or anything else that can scrap away the paper and glue. Hope this helps. Make sure not to touch the balls, but toss them, with the cap, under your tongue.

It really works.

I've been using another brand for leg cramps and I guess my body got used to it as it's not as effective so I decided to try this one. I'm really pleased with the relief that it's giving me. It even helps me to use less prescription pain medicine which is a bonus.

Cervical Radiculopathy Support

I was suffering from CR for a couple years. Was going to physical therapy, in pain almost daily and every few months I would be in Urgent Care getting a steroid and pain shot when things got really bad. I was having surgery for another issue in Aug '22 and started to take Arnica for healing, when I stumbled upon Hypericum Perf while researching other Homeopathy remedies.... this changed by life. I'm about 98% good, going for 100%. I initially took 4-5 pellets every 15 mins for about an hour (15 - 30 mins away from any food) for the first few days. As the pain began to resolve, I used it when I remembered. Sometimes I take it once daily (4-5 pellets), sometimes I don't. If I feel any tingles, I go back to the every 15 mins dosage. I'm starting to workout again (easing into it with Yoga and stretching) and got nervous because the cervical area and my shoulders were feeling irritated, but its a normal part of the process since I was sedentary for a good while. I took some ibuprofen and was good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend ... you have nothing to lose.

This helped my nerve pain almost immediately but I had a horrible adverse reaction to it. Please do your research on this before you use it. If you take any medications check for interactions

It Works

It works. In the evening my feet begin to throb, but after taking 7-8 hypericum perforatum the pain diminishes. It works.
