JENNIFER'S BODY

This is truly one of the best movies I have ever watched. I watch this all of the time! The writing and directing are top notch. Acting is fantastic! I still cannot figure out why this gem didn’t do better when it first came out. This movie is a great representation of Minnesota. There really is a Devil’s Kettle. It’s up by Grand Marais and you have a good hike to get there. Beautiful hike and even better falls.

Certainly better than I was expecting. Jennifer and Needy are two friends from childhood, who stick close to each other. Needy has her boyfriend Chip, and Jennifer whomever she wants. Together, they go to the local tavern (dive) where a band is playing. A fire starts, and both of them manage to escape. The fire kills many people from the town, and the town is greatly changed. Jennifer is also, but for a much different reason.There is some nice humor in the movie. When Jennifer is exhibiting one of her acquired skills, Needy says “she’s just hovering. Not that impressive.” In another scene, Jennifer asks “do you get all your murder weapons at Home Depot?”Jennifer’s breezy attitude as she goes about her work does a lot for the movie.

Okay first off the only reason we're here is for the case. The case is amazing looking and came in good condition in good packaging. If the case is worth the face value then you can buy this and you will love it. However the disc was super bad, kept cutting out halfway on 3 blu ray players and you couldn't scene select around it. I had to buy a different disc to actually watch the movie on, and with that one I threw away the standard packaging and replaced the disc in this steel-book. I have a feeling the seller does not have the original disc that came with the steel-book and he's putting in his own copies from some other packaging.Conclusion: Find another seller if you can, if you can't, be prepared for the disc to not work, the cheapest copy of Jennifer's Body on Amazon comes with Buffy The Vampire Slayer if you wanna look it up.

Jennifer's Body got trashed when it came out. As a result, I didn't see it until now. Despite a few clunks here and there (certainly nothing worse than what we've come to expect even in classic horror films like, say, The Evil Dead), it's a solid movie with a bloody tongue planted firmly but not annoyingly in cheek. The dialogue is fantastic (a Cody hallmark), and the soundtrack rawks. I'm not sure what film the haters saw, but it wasn't this one.

Jennifer's Body is the best type of horror film because it does not take itself seriously. just fun teen angst. good fx. surprisingly good acting. fun story. beautiful blu ray picture with decent extras.double check what you buy I got this for $4.99 repackaged instead of 20 plus for others.and Megan Fox is a goddess !!!!!!!!

I was surprised by this movie. It was actually scary at times! (I watched it alone and with the lights off)While there was a lot of blood, it was not actually very violent. There was also no nudity shown. If you have kids they can maybe watch it.I purchased the Unrated extended version Blu-Ray, upon recommendation by a coworker from when I was living abroad.The title of this movie (Jennifer's Body) actually has a meaning, and it's not what you think! When you watch the movie you'll understand.It was worth watching. I paid a "bargain bin" price for it here on Amazon.

Not worth your time

I really like horror comedy movies. If you're somebody with that type of dark humor, you'll like Jennifer's Body. It's weird, it's creepy, it's funny, it's sexy, it's thrilling, and well, sometimes a little dumb and leaves you scratching your head. But overall, I really liked it. It's a really fun horror flick for Halloween.

Trotz FSK 18 habe ich nicht erwartet, viel von Megan Fox' Body zu sehen, und "Härte" in der Extended Version ? Fehlanzeige , FSK 16 wäre verständlich.Jennifer Check (Megan Fox) und Anita "Needy" Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried) sind seit der Kinddheit beste Freundinnen, jennifer jetzt im jungen Erwachsenenalter der Vamp, die brillentragende Needy eher der Typ Streberin. nach einem verheerenden Feuer in einer Bar fährt die schockierte Jennifer mit der Band, die dort einen Auftritt hatte, in deren Van mit davon, und kommt als blutrünstiges Wesen wieder, da ein satanischer Ritus ahnihr vollzogen wurde, an dem sie unerwartet nicht starb. Needy erkennt ihtre verwandelte Freundin bald nicht wieder, und sie muss selber schließlich satanische Kräfte anwenden, um Jennifer auszuschalten.Für ihr erstes Drehbuch zu "Juno" mit der umwerfenden Ellen Page in der Hauptrolle erhielt Diablo Cody einen Oscar. Oscarreif ist "Jennifers Body" eider nicht. Ob es an der Regie lag (bei Juno2 war es Jason Reitmann), vermag icch nicht zu beurteilen, aber der Film schwankt für mich unentschlossen zwischen (harmlosen) Horror, Hororkomödie und auch etwas Kritik am "American Way OF Life", bezüglich der Jugend und der Popkultur.Megan Fox habe ich hi8er zum ersten mal gesehen, große darstellerische Fähigkeiten verlangt ihr die Rolle nicht ab. mehr Body haben wir von Amanda Seyfried in "Chloe" gesehen, in dem sie Liam Neeson im Auftrag von Julianne Moore auf seine Treue testen soll und mit der Auftraggeberin im Bett landet, eine Szene, die erheblich spektakulärer ist als die "Zungenkussorgie" hier mit Megan Fox.Auch schauspieleriech gefiel sie mir erheblich besser, aber ihre Rolle bot auch mehr Möglichkeiten zu glänzen als die Rolle von M.Fox.Abraten möchte ich von dem Film nicht, muss ihn aber nicht noch einmal sehen.Doc Halliday

Muy mala. Era vendido y enviado por Amazon, decía que tenía español y que era de nuestra región y ni una ni otra. No se puede reproducir y encima cambiaron la portada y información de la página y ya no aparece lo mismo que cuando lo compré.
