These are made in China Using some kind of non-leather for the panels the stitching has cut through like a perforated tear strip. Too bad because the shoes are nice and light and well made. What is strange is the rh shoe is ok but the lh shoe is falling apart. Bad material, again with China made products quality control seems to be a word that does not translate.

I order these shoes every 3 months for work. I can tell they seemed a little different. They started to fall apart in less than a wk (stitching). My experience with this brand tells me this pair must be knock off counterfeitI ordered these shoes again, same problem

This pair is actually the 2nd pair of the same shoe I bought previously.The 1st pair is still lasting but I felt it needed some replacement after walking about 1600 (!) miles within one year in them.The sole has hardly any profile left and the side shows a fissure running between the sole and the deck p-leather. Extremely comfortable and well fitting shoe for long walks. The best shoes I had so far. The Redwing shoes I had lasted about 2 years but at $180 you can't beat the Rockport shoe. The pictures showing the shoes after over one year of daily 8 miles walked.

Horrible! I am used to Rockport quality. I was so excited to find these shoes on Amazon. However, the first pair had one shoe sole thickness thicker than the other shoe. So I returned it for a replacement. Except the replacement pair had the same issue! Amazon was unwilling to take up this issue with Rockport and figure out what was going on. People walking around in these shoes who do not inspect them, will end up with knee and back problems. I still do not have my Rockports. All I want is the usual quality product that Rockport usually delivers. I wonder if Amazon was trying to sell knock offs as Rockports?? If so, shame on you Amazon.

I bought these for my dad after he had complained about his old shoes. He had a pair (different brand) that he bought less than a year ago and they fell apart and were killing his feet. I encouraged him to try rockport and he is in love.Pros:- They are water resistant, as they are leather.- they have a good amount of grip in the sole, and so far no slipping (even in snow)- they are extremely comfortable (Dad wears them every day)- Dad has major back issues, and these help with that and don’t hurt his feet- he’s had them for over a month and they still look new, even with daily wear.Cons- Haven’t heard any complaints yet, so no downside right now.

Rockport has always been a brand I associate with quality and value, and these shoes are no different. I first saw these and tried them on a local dept. store, and while I wasn't very impressed at first, I thought they were comfortable and couldn't find anything else that I liked better, so I bought them. Later that evening, I looked them up on Amazon and found they were significantly less expensive, so I ordered them from Amazon and returned the others to the dept. store.I've been wearing them for about a week now, and really like how light and comfortable they are. That said, the light weight of the materials has me wondering how well they will hold up (only time will tell). Given the price, if I can get 6 months to a year of regular use out of them, I'll be happy.

The shoes fit as expected and were very comfortable right out of the box. The out sole is not a rubber, more of a hard foam like the middle sole and I am concerned how it will hold up to walking on concrete everyday. The leather? on the toe box make a popping noise when I walk which is off putting in an office environment but I assume it will stop once it is broken in more. This is not the same quality as Rockport from 10+ years ago but for the price I am happy with the shoe. I purchased a similar pair of Rockports in the mid 90's and wore them for 8 years, I will be happy to get 1 year out of this pair.

Like the shoes... took them on a trial walk of about a mile through an indoor mall today with favorable results. Did remove the gel sock liner and replace it with the orthotics I need to wear. Very light weight shoe but seems to offer what I want for daily wear. Appearance is pleasant, with a non-shiny finish. Had gotten tired of wearing white sneakers all the time, and these seem to be a fine alternative.

I bought a pair of these shoes in 2017 when we were in the States. They fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable. I was going to buy the same shoes again this year when we were due to go to Florida but the trip was cancelled because of the virus. I checked on line and saw that Amazon had them in stock so ordered them. They were shipped from the States and arrived in 10 days! Brilliant service by Amazon! Thank you!

This is a great pair of trainers. They are comfortable, lightweight and stylish. I bought the wide fit, if you have narrow heels an wide instep then the rockport wide fit is perfect. I bought size 10.5, this is my normal size , they fit to size really well. The look is between shoes an trainers so you get away with these and a smart pair of trousers.

I've only used for a month and the tread pattern on bottom is wearing out already. 2nd time in 3 years I've bought these shoes and the first pair was built better. They've cheapened out on the materials. I still have the old shoes to compare to. I bought them again because I liked the quality of the first pair. I have been mistaken. For the price I'd expect the same quality as before. But in my opinion they now compare to an overseas no name brand worth $30.

I have numerous pairs of Rockport "get your kicks flip flops" in size 10 for my son and size 11 for me. I am a happy in the size 11's but my son's 10's feel a bit small, so I bought the 10.5 in these Bluchers. Unfortunately, even though I'm a 10.5 in all Nike's, Keen's and my other Rockport's I found I had over a thumb's width in front of my big toe in the 10.5 so I've now ordered a size 10 also to try and see if they will fit as I quite like the shoe. Sadly, it costs me $24 to return any shoe that doesn't fit me, so if the 10's are no good either it will cost me $48 to return both.Update: I received the size 10's and they were too tight so I've kept the size 10.5.

Extremely cheaply made, like something from a cheap Chinese knockoffs store you would pay $20 for, the base of the shoe is made from foam, not rubber, the exterior is of very thin fake leather, they are low cut in height.Very disappointed in this poor offering and the way Amazon reviews have made this look like a good purchase, when instead they are overpriced cheap rubbish.
