Perfect color
I used this to redo my kitchen countertop. Yes...I know it's weird, but I wanted something glitter. I have had a painted countertop for years and it was getting boring. 2 coats of primer, two coats of base coat and then a glitter coat. Though the glitter didn't really show through the paint as I had hoped, it was fine enough for me to just sprinkle everywhere. I may have gone overboard, but I love it. Because there is now texture from all the glitter, it's gonna require a lot of poly to make it smooth - but my glittery countertop will be perfect when done. Couldn't be happier - and there's plenty of glitter to save for another project. One word of caution! This glitter is super fine - you will get it everywhere even if you are careful...I expect I will be finding it in places for decades!

Glitter wall!!!! Beautiful
I have spent so much money on glitter additive to do a glitter wall. If you are doing a glitter wall you must get a mix of the smaller and larger size glitter to mix together. I wish I had known to mix small and larger glitter for fuller more sparkly wall. Put this paint additave in a top clear coat do not mix in colored paint! Paint your wall then put this on. If you are doing a 12*8 wall you want 4 bags of this and 4 bags of the smaller for one gallon. Then it won't be space. Plan to have lighting that shines on the wall for the extreme look. It does not look gawdy bit very chik!

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. I added 2 packages of gold paint additive to 1 gallon of yellow paint and it came out beautifully. I had Home Depot shake the paint with the glitter additive to mix it up well. Sparkles just the right amount and you can see the gold glitter when you look close. Hard to get a picture that shows the sparkle, so I took a video too.

Not for colored paint. Use regular craft glitter
I did a lot of experimenting with this because I had my doubts about it working with colored paint. It definetly did not work in the colored paint I had. So I tried mixing it with a clear sealant and that did the trick. Be aware it does make the surface textured. You'd probably need another coat or two of plain sealant to even the texture out.Overall, since it doesn't work with colored paint, I'd have to say it's not really worth the money. You can do the same thing with regular craft glitter in a clear sealant. The pictures show the glitter in the colored paint and the other in the clear sealant in sunlight.

BUY THIS!!!
The pictures just don’t do this justice! The sparkle is GORGEOUS!! I used two packets of the champagne colored ultra fine glitter in about 1/4 of a gallon of sunset pink paint, and I just used a rough cloth to buff it. And it’s perfect! Turned out so much better than I expected. Pretty sure every room in my house is going to have a least one glitter wall!

Nice sparkle
The media could not be loaded. I tried this for the first time today. It has a nice sparkle and preformed in the paint as I expected. I have used a different brand in the past but wanted to try this one because you get more for the money. I have not buffed it yet like this company says you can but I am happy with the sparkle that shows right now. I did not use the whole packet of glitter (added to a gallon of paint) so I have some left over to use else where. If you want glitter in your paint buy this and not the little 1 oz packets of a different brand in the hardware store. Hope it shows ok in the video since I have a crazy light fixture that casts patterns.

If You’re Thinking About it, Do It!
I can not speak highly enough of this. I wanted to add some “flair” to my daughter’s bed. The glitter is super fine and mixes easily into paint. I was disappointed at first because my bag arrived with a hole in the side, so everything was covered in glitter. I painted 2 coats with my sparkly paint and was again disappointed because it was not as sparkly as I had hoped. I used a coconut scouring pad and lightly buffed the whole bed, and oh my goodness. What a difference it made! My daughter’s bed is the mst beautiful and sparkly bed I’ve ever seen. It’s perfect. If you’re prepared to put in a little work (and a lot of glitter cleanup) you won’t regret this!

The more sensible option vs premium formulation as a glitter additive when using opaque paint
I usually prefer the premium ultra sparkle formulation but this was on sale at a good price so I thought I would give it a go.This is a very good product. Not a much sparkle power as the premium ultra sparkle (which is cosmetic grade and designed to excel in more transparent/translucent bases). Since this designed as a paint additive and paint is usually more opaque, the way to make this glitter stand out in your application is to buff the finished surface after the paint has dried, which removes the cloudy ultra thin layer of paint from the uppermost glitter flakes and brings the reflective surface of the flakes to a nice shine. No the glitter hasn't flaked off after doing this. Yes it definately makes the glitter stand out better and gives a much more finished glittery look.I used this in paint for some home dec items and not to paint a wall. I just added what I thought would be adequate for the amount of paint I mixed up so I can't give precise measurements. All in all I'm happy with the results. Since I tend to use glitter in higher end creations and more transparent/translucent mediums I personally will continue to purchase the premium glitters (more expensive but worth it!), but will happily purchase this preparation again if my project calls for use in opaque paint- where the look of the premium paint is decreased by the opacity of the medium.

Decorating a girls bedroom...
The media could not be loaded. We used it for decorating an 8 year olds bedroom. For reference we used: Dulux Endurance mix up in shade Nutmeg Cluster 6 (a soft pale pink). We gave one coat of paint without glitter and mixed the glitter in for the second coat. We had approximately 3 litres left when mixing the glitter in and used two coloured glitters - Champagne and Gold. (The recommended amount is 1.5 litres per packet).I was a bit worried after mixing in the glitter that it wouldn’t show up as I disappeared in the mixture but, using a roller to apply and doing it generously paid off, ensure your roller is fully loaded with paint as when you use the roller dry you get less glitter. We haven’t buffed down the glitter at all as it wasn’t needed but you may need to when using less?Overall I am absolutely over the moon with the finished look.

Remember to buff for extra sparkle
The media could not be loaded. This is the third time I have use this glitter to make feature walls. It turns out really well but you must be prepared to put the effort in to make it sparkle. I did 2 coats of paint with the glitter in. I used it in a 5l tin. At first it didn't turn out as well as my previous times however I then used the back of a minky scrubber to rub a cross the paint to reveal the most glittery wall. Be sure to rub the whole wall gently, it really does make a difference and reveals so much more of this glitter.

Do not waste your money on this stuff.
This stuff is horrible to use! I mixed the packet until you couldn't see the glitter in the paint. I had already prepared my walls and 2 coats of emulsion had already been applied to a smooth wall. Now I am stuck with lumpy patchy horrible paint with virtually non existent glitter. Waste of £20 and shouldn't along with all the stuff in DIY stores be sold as its not fit for purpose. I am now having to strip the entire paint off the walls and begin again.

Works well in masonry paint
The media could not be loaded. Totally love this and I’m back to buy another. Put this whole pack in 2l black masonry paint from wilko. We wanted to hide a horrible uneven brick wall and this was the effect! I’m in love! It’s just enough to give a lovely effect at night

Super glittery
Beautiful colour shows up really well in paint if added correctly easy to do stir paint as pouring it in and for two minutes after perfectly even used two packs on a 20 litre tin one pack would have been enough as goes a long way really pleased will definitely order again
