Quaker Essential Puffed Rice Cereal, 6.3oz Boxes (Pack of 10 Boxes)

I LOVE this cereal!!! It is soooooooooooo delicious if you add white sugar and milk (of course). I love it when it gets a little soggy. It reminds me of when I was a kid, growing up my mom used to buy this in the big bags. So when I eat this I get that nostalgic little girl feeling, it is like comfort food for me. I love the fact that a verry large portion is under a hundred calories and no fat. Even though I do add sugar to it I figure I can control that myself.I ordered it here on Amazon because I was having a hard time finding it here on the east coast, on the west coast it is readily available. And, when I do find it, it is really expensive, like $5 a box and there is very little in it. I would buy it again here on Amazon in a heartbeat...but I have a hard time storing 10 boxes! :0)

This cereal was a staple at my grandma's house when i was younger. As time went on, it got harder and harder, and then impossible to find. I eventually gave up hope and moved on, occasionally thinking about it, and missing it. I never thought to search it on Amazon, until my cousin bought some for his mom amd told me he found it here. While I'm a bit disappointed with high prices and need to buy 10 boxes to get a somewhat reasonable per box price, I'm glad i bought it. Upon opening the first box I was greeted with that familiar smell and I couldnt wait to pour myself a bowl! Much to my delight, it was just as I remembered! I'm happy, my mom is happy, I've already finished 2 boxes and so has my mom. This wont last long.

I've had a hard time finding my old time favorite cereal and I was tickled that Amazon had Puffed Rice cereal! Looks the same, tastes the same ... my "go to" afternoon snack to keep me from binging before dinner. Smooth transaction ... fast delivery ... affordable ... satisfying! Try it! There's no other puffed rice cereal that tastes as good as Quaker! Bon appetite!

I have no idea why you can't find Quaker Puffed Rice in the U.S. anymore, or, at least, not anywhere in the U.S. except at Amazon. This is the real stuff, and it looks, feels and tastes just like it always did, which is great! The info on the side of the box says it's made in Canada, and there's an 800 number, in case anyone wants to call Quaker and ask them what they're thinking by removing their product from American markets. Anyhow, you can buy this with confidence-it's the real Quaker Puffed Rice you remember from your childhood. Thank goodness for Amazon-they always have everything!

My elderly Dad loves this cereal but he could not find it any stores here in southern California. I figured Amazon has everything, so what to lose and sure enough here it is! Kinda sucks that you have to buy 10 boxes at a time though, but the cereal keeps just fine. I really enjoy it as well. I'm not a person that can eat a lot in the morning and this is nice and very light..perfect light breakfast or snack before bedtime! Only reason I did not give 5 stars is for having to buy 10 boxes..not so practical for many people, but like i said, it keeps fresh just fine.

I make healthy gluten-free marshmallow treats, and I used to buy these at the store. The store no longer carries this product, so I had to go online to buy this. My treats include oatmeal, Cheerios, Rice Chex and of course the Puffed Rice. I make them at least 2x a week. When the kids and grandkids come over, that's the first thing they head for. I love the Puffed Rice. Even my great grandson likes to eat the Puffed Rice right out of the box and he's 2 yrs. old.

It’s a shame Quaker stoped making it ,I grew up on puff rice they stopped selling it in Colorado years ago but I was buying it by the case now another one of America’s great cereal bites the dust .it a shame and I ll miss it.

I've always had a sweet tooth, but for some reason this bland, unsweetened cereal has always been my favorite. It's not available at any supermarket in my area, so I have to order it online.That said, if you love Puffed Rice, order the cereal directly from Amazon--an option not available at the time I ordered through Ozbo. Ozbo charges more than Amazon and didn't package it very well.Note that the sell-by date is about 6 months out, so don't order more than you can eat in that period. Quaker's sell-by dates are for real.
