My beautiful Morgan mare foundered due to a bad shot which triggered an IR condition. I was desperate to find a way to prevent this every again. I read everything I could and thought I'd give Heiro a try. It worked! With Heiro and a careful diet with a low NSC, and only snacks of peanuts, I was able to keep my precious mare sound for an additional 7 years. The day she squealed and and ran in pasture was a joy to behold. She was my driving horse and up until the last year, she was driven regularly. I now use it on my Hackney pony and two quarter horses who, even with careful diets, tend to hold onto fat. The pony went on it when the farrier said he saw separation in the feet. His feet are now back to normal. Heiro also acts as a detox agent. I've used it on rescue horses to make sure they get every care I can give.

Amazing product!!!! It is greatly increased the quality of my overweight donkeys feet, as well as Help dissolve a significant amount of his Cresty neck and fatty deposits along his side. Overall he is down a significant amount of weight and is not foot sore at all.My donkey suffers from chronic abscesses but since starting him on this product about two months ago, regardless of all the rain we’ve had, he has not came up lame even once.My vet is very happy with the results and encouraged me to keep my donkey on this product as well as his thyroid medication for life!

I have been using Heiro for 3 years for my mustang for protection against insulin resistants and founder at the recommendation of my vet. Mustangs are prone to issues due to their incredibly efficient metabolism that has allowed them to survive on little in the wild. My mare began getting a crusty neck and I would have had to restrict her feed plus not allow her on the pastures prior to starting her on Heiro. It took about a year before her metabolism balanced out. Now she can go out with the other horses plus I have not had to restrict her feed. I just put another horse who is prone to founder on it as well - I highly recommend this product.

Noticed some difference but need to get more. Pricey

I had my doubts, believe me. I have 2 ponies who have chronic laminitis and have foundered a couple of timesaver the past 10 years. They have been taken off grass completely and are miserable. Scared to death, I decided to carefully start them on Heiro hoping that maybe I could let them out for a half hour everyday. After 3 months I gave it a shot and they did great. After a few weeks I increased their time in the pasture to an hour and kept it there. One night, they escaped the paddock area and I woke up to find them grazing their brains out in the big field and I freaked out! Nothing happened! They were fine! Needless to say, I don't push my luck and turn them out all day, but they are out for 3-4 hours everyday and they're sooo happy! This product works! I recommend introducing them back on grass slowly - just to be sensible. :)

This changed my horses life. He was hairy, fat, footsore. On meds and remission. I started him on this on the recommended 10 day dose and I can happily say about 5 days in the foot soreness went away! His coat has gotten shiny and slick and he has lost weight! So love this product. It really works. My horses also love the flavor. It smells like Cinnamon Toast Crunch too!

I tried this product (with fingers crossed) based on the advertising in my national-based horse magazines. I have only fed it for a month so not sure of the results yet. I have a Welsh Cob & a miniature mare who are aged and have had laminitis issues in the past. The product has a wonderful smell and they eat it readily. I mix it with a touch of "Healthy Coat" so it stays with the morning grain, not in the bottom of the bucket. With the pastures coming on, I have not noticed an appreciable weight gain, which is one area I was hoping for. Will keep you all posted.

Shetland pony prone to founder and laminitis, could not go on grass start of spring or he was in so much pain he couldn't walk. I am unable to keep him in a dirt pen for the rest of his life so I needed to find a solution so he could feel better and be used by my kids. Started feeding product as instructed and kept him in corral pen till initial 10 days were up then let out on pasture with other horses. Pony is galloping everywhere and loves the product, he comes trotting to fence to get his dose everyday. So happy that he is pain free and kids are riding everywhere on him. Worth the money.
