This is a good hammer
I have used wooden and fiberglass handled hammers. I was surprised at how comfortable, balanced, and effective this hammer is. Lighter than I expected. Glad I bought this. A good size for household chores.

Great Hammer
I was amazed to see such a great price on a Craftsman product but was very happy with the size, easy to use, easy to transport in your too box while still holding onto that classic craftsman appearance. It has very good balance which as most know you want in a good hammer.

Well built general hammer. It's well balanced and the axe handle profile is good to avoid slipping. Red color doesn't hurt when it comes to fitting in with my Milwaukee tools.

It looks good, light and for emergencies
I bought this hammer to have at home as a backup in case I need it at a certain time, I haven't used it yet. Aesthetically it looks very good, it is light and easy to transport, however I must say that it looks a little fragile. Other reviews say that the coating comes off during the first few uses and it is very likely, however this hammer is obviously not for rough or professional use for the price. If what you need is a hammer to have in your tool box in case you need it or if you don't mind that it loses aesthetic points due to use, it is a good purchase option for the price.
