Where the shoe naturally bends, there is already a very hard line (actually feels like compressed cardboard) already making them uncomfortable for our child after just 6 weeks.Very little give in them.The product is made in India.

I ordered these in a uk13 but now (with son about to start school) see that they sent a 12.5uk which is the size he already has. Too late for return or exchange apparently. Really annoying as will now need to buy yet another pair. Always but this model for my sons as suits their feet.

I had to update. I don’t know why people are saying this shoe is not sturdy? I put a “year later” photo up so people can see exactly how well they hold up. I have a regular rough boy, and believe me he gives them a good workout everyday. This his second year wearing them because his feet hasn’t grown. He wore them all through 4th grade last year, and is half way through the fifth grade now. They still look brand new!! They’re so good, next year I intend to buy him the exact same pair. All I do is polish them every few months. Leather is sturdy and the soles are solid. Best thing is they look really expensive without looking like a boring oxford. I’ve had many parents ask me wear I purchased them. Sturdy and smart. Well worth the price.
