Nice set
Nice set, kinda cheaply made and ink was leaking out all in baggy and some in the box. But it's worth the 20 bucks

Good price for a beginner to try calligraphy.
It is a great beginner set. I only try one sharp nib for the copperplate calligraphy.I thought I wanted to return the pen because it feels heavy, but after I compared to the plastic manuscript pen holder(green pen that I purchased separately), it is better than that.I tried to burn the nib on the fire but it does not work. So, I try the potato dip nibs methods like in the postman knock for 15 minutes to remove the oil. It has worked for my Nikko G nib.I also try to put Nikko G Nib, it does not fit perfect. The ink is a little bit thin compared to Japanese Sumi ink.I am happy with this product as I can explore many nibs.I hope they come with some examples on how to use it.The quality is fine for the price. The drill that I write is green using this ink and black using sumi ink, other oblique pen (I purchased separately) and one nib included in this package. The letter B is using the pen and nib.The ink bottle size compared to 1oz ink bottle.Overall, this is good for beginner to practice and have fun.

Decent set for experienced calligraphers
So it's definitely a very pretty set... And it works... Relatively well. I wouldn't recommend for beginners... Not even someone that's been practicing for a bit, really. Most of the nibs do not do quite the way they should... They don't spread properly and a lot of the tips were bent and catch badly. And if you're a beginner, there's no instructions or anything telling you what each nib is for... you can try looking up guides online but the nibs do not look like the ones on any guides enough to be positive on their purpose. The other issue, as others have said, is the ink is EXTREMELY thin. It doesn't stay on the nib for more than MAYBE one letter depending on style and size. Some nibs won't even do a full letter on one load in old English. Definitely recommend the potato prior to use... Just stick the nibs in a raw potato for 15-20 minutes, clean them and they should be good. Inks definitely hold much better afterwards... I didn't know this until after getting frustrated and googling advice. All in all its a decent set for the price, but definitely one more suited for an intermediate calligrapher or someone practicing with a teacher to advise them with it.

beautiful pen and ink holder
I have been doing calligraphy for about two years and I especially like this pen. It feels great to hold and is light weight. The one I bought is black and it is great not to get ink stains on the pen. Ink wipes off the metal holder and the groves on it provides a nice grip. The ink holder is very nice too. I have to dip more with this ink than with India ink but haven't had any issues with it. Comes in a nice box too that can be used to store nibs and ink.

Perfect
My only complaint is that the black ink leaked . But was in a plastic bag so it was contained

You get what you pay for
Personally, I'm a little disappointed by this set. It is a great deal, considering you get a pretty pen, three bottles of ink, and a ton of nibs, but I would take into account the quality of each of these items. The Pen is cheap and the wood part is actually loose on mine; that is, I'm likely gonna have to reglue it. Now, that's not a major issue as the pen is pretty regardless, but the rest of the items are where I would draw the line. Some of the nibs are decent while the others don't work well at all; I tried using the flat nibs forever always thinking someone was wrong with the way I was using them. Turns out I was wrong--the nibs are hardly flexible, so doing calligraphy with them was a pain. Many of the other nibs seemed fine, but if you intend on using the flat nibs, I'd go with Speedball instead; they are cheaper. The inks can be used in many ways, but they aren't ideal for a dip pen. Actually, these inks are just too thin. The pens don't hold much and the flow sucks on some of the nibs. If your a beginner, I would not advise this set; otherwise, you may find some things you really like.

Great product for the price
I am always concerned about quality when I find a deal online, but this was well worth the buy. The nib holder might be cheap but it looks very nice. All the nibs are good quality and everything arrived promptly and in great condition.

Pretty but cheap
The wood part of the pen was not even glued in, I glued it.... easy fix. The ink well is small and has a hole at the bottom, I'm guessing it fits over the ink jars that are very small. I was not expecting that. I'm keeping it because it is a really cool looking pen. You can pour out the ink in the small jars and replace quality ink in them! all in all it is probably worth it. You pay for what you get!
