Will it stick to outdoor wood and is it paintable?

I believe it would stick to wood outdoors. I can't verify that it can be painted as I've never tried to paint it.

Would this work on an exterior chimney crown?

It worked on a brick in my kitchen so yes it would however you might want to try the Paste version as opposed to the spray. The stuff is wonderful. No house should be without it.

Will this product break down the composition of styrofoam?

Hey there. We don't recommend using Flex Seal Spray on a styrofoam surface as the spray will cause the styrofoam to melt when it comes in contact with the spray.
