ASICS Men's Razor Short

Awesome fit. It's a shame these seem to have gone out of production. Get them while you can. I think I paid $10-12 for them which is a steal for boardshots. Length sits just above the knee. The leg (thigh) width and opening is just right--not too baggy. There is a 3" stretch section running the inside length of each leg. So there is some expansion when you take shots or squat. Slight elastic section at the back side of the waistband makes waist stretch a little like when you bend at waist or do squats. This is awesome so the waistband doesn't dig in to your stomach. Front velcro closure is the full fly length with a second cover flap at waist. This sits flat and does not get in the way. If I were designing these I would have used a velcro waist design like this, but had no velcro in the fly--instead used a fabric flap like Hurley boardshorts do. This would make these even more flexible. I also like how the back side has a panel to countour around your butt rather than being a flat back. I think this is galled a gusset? Only downside is they are white which will become sort of see through when wet.

I ordered a 34 after reading some reviews to try a size up, bad idea. These were too big but I normally wear 32 should of went with the right size. Never re ordered.

These are incredible shorts, however I bought the last pair apparently. They're incredibly durable and light weight. I'm using them for bjj and they're holding up better than shorts that cost four times as much.

Great fit, comfortable, and a stretchy back material. They also look great.

sizes are not accurate - as a 34" waist, the 36" should fit yet it does not

My husband was wearing these at a pool party and during an attempt to do a flip the back seam split. He was not happy as he is a long-time Asics supporter.
